Last year we had booked A1, but ended up hiring someone else to sweep our chimney. Unfortunate mistake. This year, we called up Kelly and booked an appointment. Kelly was able to accommodate us in about a week. The chimney sweep, Shawn, arrived on time. Shawn took the time to explain some aspects of our 100yr old chimney. He was professional and made sure to protect our floors. He was very thorough and respectful. A1 was reasonably priced, on time, and thorough. They will be sweeping our chimney annually from now on! Unfortunately we had a mishap and as a result, did serious damage to our floors. The damage could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. Of course we called Sebastien right away. Sebastien came to the house, took a look and was back within a few days to remove the damaged wood and install the new wood. Sebastien even went to the hardwood store to pick up more wood as I had underestimated the amount required. As usual, Sebastien was on time, respectful and absolutely professional. You wouldn't even know there was damage or that a section had been replaced. Thanks Sebastien!

You can stop searching! You have found the man for your flooring needs. From the moment I met Sebastian, I knew the man was honest, hardworking and had an eye for perfection. The first thing Sebastian did was tell me there was no need to replace the upstairs wood, but rather have him sand it down and refinish it. Most companies would have told you to replace the floors, but not Sebastian, he was honest and explained the process thoroughly. We did have him install new hardwood in on the main floor, and he was very open to us providing our own wood (though he has an array of options that he is ready to provide). Sebastian came on time, each day and WORKED. Him and his sons took great care and were extremely respectful of my home. His attention to detail went beyond my expectations. I like to refer to him as an artist. I have never had such trust and respect for any tradesman. I only wish Sebastian did every trade. Thank you for the hardwood and exceptional result at a great price. We will never go anywhere else for our flooring needs.

We bought a home in the Mt Pleasant and Eglinton neighbourhood and needed new floors. The old floors were quite worn and there was a bad "hump" in the dining room. We checked on Homestars and felt comfortable having NewRidge and Sebastien come for an estimate. Right away we knew that Sebastien was the REAL DEAL!!!!!! He was honest, friendly and took the time to explain each part of the process. Sebastien took a look at both the upstairs and downstairs floors and in the most professional and honest manner, undersold us. He advised us that the upstairs floors were in great condition and just needed a sand and refinish, while the downstairs needed new floors. Sebastien was also very receptive to us providing our own wood. I read on another review that someone called Sebastien an artist... well they could not have been more accurate. The man IS truly an artist. His attention to detail was phenomenal. He never tried to overcharge, he was always on time and friendly and worked hard to make sure the job turned out great. It seemed like our happiness and satisfaction was his biggest concern, and that's what business is lacking today. The price was very competitive and Scott was an absolute pleasure to deal with. NewRidge, Scott, and Sebastien, thank you all for the outstanding work, quality and care for our home. We only wish they did ALL trade work!
