After the annual AC check-up, John recommended the outside unit needed cleaning. I said yes and when he took all the panels off it was a disgrace how much was in there. He was nice enough to not push on the neglect part, but did mention this was courting expensive problems later. Anyway, he had the right equipment to clean it nicely after peeling off the "fur" on the coils after several years of running with no maintenance. He did say using the AC very little actually means such problems may be more severe, so yearly checkups are important. He proved his point! See you next year!

We came back from a trip to a furnace that did not heat. John at AireServ returned our call a few hours later, even though we were not on his customer list at the time (that is faster than almost everyone we tried) and then got here the same day to get us heat from the furnace. He showed me how to keep things going until the repair parts got here. When the parts were delayed in transit, he found a supply he could drive to and got what was needed. Then he fixed the problem. Now he's my preferred furnace and AC guy! Cost was zero since the furnace was under warranty

We came home to a cool house a couple months ago because the furnace had stopped. It was past midnight, so I left a message with Boris (not emergency) and we went to bed. Boris called early the next day and arranged a technician who repaired a blower with a bad bearing - all under warranty from the original installation. Boris called back later in the day to be sure someone was working on it, and again afterwards to be sure it was all working properly. Great service and follow-up. And it is still running well, quieter than ever before.

Dear Gregg,
It was nice talking to you again.

I picked this company based on good reviews, being certified by the shingle manufacturer they were using, and Frank Soule as their representative knowing what he was talking about in recommending what materials and how to do it. I would pick them again. Cost was not the cheapest or the most expensive. Warranty is lifetime and transferable – sounds good to me! I like the product and the total result looks very good. The guys worked in hot and tough conditions doing this in a few days. They protected the area around the roof as well as reasonably possible and cleaned things pretty well. Yes I found a few things to touch up later, but it is very unusual to not find something on any job. Why not perfect marks? I’d give them 9.5 if it was an option, but not 10. The shortfalls were as follows: Roof vents not always lined up on the holes in the roof means the ventilation suffers. I had to check the attic fans recently, so I was in the attic. See pictures. One gap that would have let in mice or squirrels was as a result of moving the soffit to install shingles. The person doing this part of the shingles probably has not seen how the mice and squirrels love to get in through such holes. See pictures. I covered it with a shingle. Flashing around the chimneys looks water proof and all, but I’ve never seen it installed on top of shingles except when the flashing slopes down but it is possible they have another layer underneath the whole lot as well and what I see may be decorative. It looks like that on the other chimney. It did take a few extra calls to have them come back for some materials they had left behind – roof decking and such, but Frank took care of it.

Greg, Thank you so much for taking the time to submit a review you were a pleasure to work with. Yes it is normal for counter flashing to go on top of the shingles (there are step flashings installed underneath) the counter flashing is another level of defense against water penetration and it helps clean up the area to make it look nicer (so as not to see the step flashing which is galvanized metal) I hope this helps clarify....Kindest regards Jan

I moved after the Cozy World crew installed a furnace for me, and they had done a great job. They were the only option I would consider when I decided the new house furnace wasn't doing the job it should. In this case the AC was OK and stayed, but duct work needed expansion to remove air flow restrictions that were affecting the operation. Everything was done on time, professional job, and great price. I highly recommend them. They even have their prices on the web site - no surprises.

My new furnace and Air Conditioner were installed fully in 1 day. The place was left clean and tidy. The crew were polite, presentable and good workers. Add the 10 year complete coverage and competition beating price and I recommend them to everyone. It's a Goodman furnace and AC - both far quieter than the former equipment, and much more efficient. There was no sales pressure and no technospeak to confuse you in the original proposal from Boris either - straight forward and they delivered entirely what they said they would.
