This company is capable of doing a good reupholstery job, but with the chairs I had upholstered they changed the design at the back of the chairs and made a mess. Sanjay, the owner, says they recovered he chairs in the exact same pattern and details as the chairs I gave them. The chairs we gave them had a totally hidden zipper at the back. The chairs we got back have a very badly sewn exposed zipper down the back between two rolls of material. I have no pictures of the back of the chairs I gave them so I cannot show you how different the chairs were but it is easy to imagine the chairs with just a seam down the back. They said they could not hide the zipper because the material we chose was to thick but to imitate the look of a totally hidden zipper would just be a straight seam down the back. Advice so you as a future customer would not be as disappointed as I was. I. Take pictures of your item from every angle. 2. Get assurances from them that they can do the pattern in the material you chose.

The installation our air conditioner went smoothly though the air conditioner took up more space that the salesman indicated. However be aware that an air conditioner which ties into you forced air heating system may not work .for your house. Cool air does not rise and forced air heating systems are made with the vents on the floor. In a new build the vents for the air conditioner are on the ceiling. In our house we have large windows facing west. In the afternoon the air conditioner came on continuously and the temperature climbed continuously to 83 degrees. The most any room was ever cooled down to was 78 degrees F. We wasted out money.!!!!

Hi Dianne, if you call into the office before the next cooling season, we can give you the tips and tricks to maximize the cooling in your home. Most homes have air conditioners attached to forced air and also have floor vents and are able to keep up with the cooling. It may be something very simple we can do to help out!

I want to recommend this company because I phoned other companies and either they did not do landscaping for individual home owners or did not return my calls. Voytek promptly returned my calls, quickly assed my landscaping needs, and had a great solution which we liked, but with some modifications. He efficiency procured the plants at a reasonable price and installed them. He advertises that he is reasonable in his pricing and we found that to be true.

We had a shower door installed by Pacific Shower Doors June 2014. It leaked from the beginning, and the man he sent to fix the leak did not fix it. ( He did not even examine why it was leaking and installed a metal strip where it would do no good). I tried very had to get them to come and fix it and in the end I gave up. Then 18 months later the sliding door malfunctioned and we could not open or close it so we could not use the shower. We phoned Pacific Shower doors to come and repair it. We were willing to pay for the repair because there is no warranty on the parts and labour after six months. They told us they were too busy to help us out which I consider very poor after sales service. However, I later phoned Kristy Glass and the owner came and fixed both problems inside of an hour at a reasonable cost. I am very pleased with their service especially after all the trouble I have had with Pacific Shower doors.

Complaint Description: We paid close to $1800.00 to have what we thought was a quality shower door installed. We had in mind how we would like the shower doors o be installed because of the design of our bathroom and to prevent leaks . However when the employee came to measure for the shower doors he said the shower door opening should be on the side where the shower head is. We wanted the opening away from the shower head to prevent leaks and it made more sense to us to have the sealed part of the sliding shower doors where more of the water came out. We argued, but gave in in the end because we thought he was the expert. We hate the way the doors are installed and it also makes no sense because of the position of the towel racks in our bathroom. Little water reaches the sealed end of the shower. Water leaks from the end where the sliding shoer door opens. We asked if the doors could be changed around. However we were told they could not change the doors because the glass was cut to have the opening where it is. Then i asked if the leak could be fixed. They came and put a different railing in, but the shower still leaks. i asked if they could order a slightly larger railing so the water would not come out. The owner said he would come and look at the shower but he never did. WE HATE OUR LEAKING SHOWER DOORS. I FEEL WE PAID TOO MUCH.

“The customer is always right!” We hear that expression with such frequency that many of us accept it without question.
When it comes to purely cosmetic choices it is true enough, but when it comes to technical questions most customers expect businesses to share their knowledge, experience and expertise. “But that’s what you asked for” is a pathetic comeback from any firm that did not take the time to explain why whatever the customer asked for was unlikely to meet that customer’s needs. For the 999 customers who expect us to share our expertise we will not cease offering it just because this 1 customer lamented us having done so. Our job is to educate; our customers’ job is to decide.
This customer feels they paid too much. Based on the materials and labor provided our price is very competitive, but I sympathize in that if the end product doesn’t do what it is supposed to do then any price paid is arguably too much.
But the leakage that forms the primary basis of this customer’s complaint is not due to any deficiency of the shower enclosure. Allow me to explain.
The advice we offered this DIY home owner actually started in the framing stage with a trip to their home for which we did not charge. They had already made several framing mistakes and we explained how to correct them, why this was so necessary, and where they should go from there. This is one of the primary reasons why we encourage customers to visit us during the planning stages. Bathroom renovations are expensive and because we are dealing with water it is so important to do everything correctly. We have seen far too many horror stories caused by “shortcuts”, that is, failure to use best practices.
One of our most important pieces of advice was to incorporate a design detail in their curb that would act as a threshold against leakage from under their door. It was clearly explained that if they failed to do this that leakage would come with a guarantee. We display several means of accomplishing this in our showroom which we showed and explained when they visited it.
This advice they chose to ignore, and now we pay the price through a negative review.
If this were my home I would not change the shower enclosure at all. It is every bit as nice as the one in our showroom. It is exactly what they ordered. I would however fix the curb in short order.
Another bit of advice they failed to heed was to level the curb from end to end and plumb the walls while it was still easy to correct those deficiencies. Had they done that we could have reversed the enclosure and would have gladly done so without charge despite the considerable work involved. This was not an option however as we had cut the glass to perfectly fit surfaces that were significantly out of plumb and level.
Based on this customer’s observation that little water reaches the fixed panel, reversing the enclosure would have admittedly lessened the problem, but it would hardly have solved it. The goal is surely to prevent any leakage, and to achieve that goal requires correcting their curb.
We have already attempted to modify their curb with a piece of extruded aluminum which we provided and installed for free, but apparently it did not do the job. I therefore offered to come take a look at the shower personally (again for free) and that they should make an appointment with our scheduler with whom they had made the earlier appointments all of which were kept as promised. There must have been miscommunication as they never made an appointment and are now complaining that I never came. The promise remains however, and as I understand this reply will be communicated back to the customer I urge them to pick up the phone and schedule a mutually convenient appointment. Better yet, they should return to our showroom where I can again show them what their curb should look like and walk them through how to fix theirs. They should phone first to make sure I am there. This is not the first defective curb we have seen and we have plenty of ideas on how to rectify the situation which I would love to share with them.
A second issue this customer apparently has concerns with is the distance between their towel bar and the door. That is a perfect example of why the configuration decisions must ultimately rest with the customer. We can and should offer our advice, but it is the customer that has to live with their decisions. I am fairly confident however that we can offer solutions to that concern as well.
I confess to considerable surprise at this negative review. I honestly cannot think of anything we would do any differently tomorrow. We gave our best advice, far too much of which was ignored. We gave a competitive price on the enclosure they chose and provided exactly what was ordered. We attempted to fix a problem that we warned them about and had nothing to do with our work, and we offered to give further advice when that did not solve their problem.
Anyone reading this review is equally encouraged to visit us during the planning stages. We have several excellent contractors that we are happy to refer you to as this is a perfect example of why bathroom renovations are generally best left to the pros.

I wanted white on white marbling. There is so little marbling that what there is looks like a mistake. The biggest problem is the shower pan, It does not drain all the water. The shower pan was installed first and I assumed it would drain. This was a bad mistake. if I had tried putting pails of water into the pan I would have seen that it does not drain all the way. At that point we could have had it taken out and a different pan put in. However we did not try out the shower pan until the walls and shower doors were installed. When we did try it out we found that the pan does not drain completely . Then it was too late to put in a different shower pan. The company owner tried to fix the problem with a thinner drain cover but it does not stay in place or solve the problem. Also if you instal shower doors the ledge is not very even. I would like to warn all prospective customers to try out the shower pan as soon as possible to see if it drains all of the water out. I hate that the water sits in the corner, because that corner is lower than the drain

First and of importance to readers, Profile was not contracted as the renovator or 'contractor' for this project as suggested by the heading, this was a DIY project. Our responsibility as a sub was to supply and install the clients chosen shower base and walls into an area prepared by the homeowner. Draining issues can be related directly to the level of the floor under the base as shower base has the csa required slope to the drain end.
