Warning about buying an air conditioner

The installation our air conditioner went smoothly though the air conditioner took up more space that the salesman indicated. However be aware that an air conditioner which ties into you forced air heating system may not work .for your house. Cool air does not rise and forced air heating systems are made with the vents on the floor. In a new build the vents for the air conditioner are on the ceiling. In our house we have large windows facing west. In the afternoon the air conditioner came on continuously and the temperature climbed continuously to 83 degrees. The most any room was ever cooled down to was 78 degrees F. We wasted out money.!!!!

Approximate cost of services:
$6,700.00

Hi Dianne, if you call into the office before the next cooling season, we can give you the tips and tricks to maximize the cooling in your home. Most homes have air conditioners attached to forced air and also have floor vents and are able to keep up with the cooling. It may be something very simple we can do to help out!
