He came in, and did a really good job in assessing the issue and drawing up plans. He was upfront with his costs, very professional and overall delivered as he promised. Sometimes looking for help in this area can be daunting because it goes beyond simple house repairs, but having an honest guy like Mo around really helps things. We had an issue with our microwave and oven. Eugene responded promptly to our request and was diagnosing the problem within a hr. After figuring out the problem (and explaining it to me), he gave me a reasonable quote and ordered the parts I needed. As soon as the parts came in, he came by and fixed everything quickly! I'm the type of guy that is a little wary when I need to hire someone to do a job around the house. Even more so when it's my roof, because hey, how can I (or you for that matter) verify that the job was done correctly? So, like you're probably doing right now, I spent many a days doing online research, spoke with countless roofers and obtained a ton of quotes. And after all was said and done, I decided to go with Mint Roofing. And it was well worth it. From start to finish, Chris and his team were always informative, accommodating and professional. I find that it's rare nowadays to find people that truly value their work and customer satisfaction to such a high degree as Chris does. For example, after my roof was completed, he promptly and courteously followed up on a small additional task that needed to get done. To be honest, he probably could've told me to bugger off, but he didn't. And I find that it's those situations that really reveals someone's character, and for Chris, he showed that he's a stand-up guy. So if you're like me, someone who's a little wary and really wants to find the right company, you should definitely go with Mint Roofing. You will not be disappointed.

Leo and his crew (incl his son) came by and installed carpet in three bedrooms. He was quick, courteous and did a great job overall. Some of the baseboards got chipped, but nothing that a little touch-up can't fix (I will likely change up the baseboards in the near future anyway as they are old and dated anyway). TRUST ME GO WITH THE MOLD GUY. Enough can't be said about the service from the Mold Guy. We recently purchased a home built in the 80s that had wood panelled walls and burgundy carpet in the basement with that familiar "musty" smell. About 10 min into removing some of the panelling I came across some mold. and then some more. and then some more. Right away I hopped on my computer and starting doing days upon days of research on mold and remediation. I came up with two things: 1) it's best to let a professional assess and if required, remove the mold. I'm an aspiring DIYer and believe me this is something left to pros unless you are absolutely certain that the problem is minor. 2) Go with someone you can trust. Unfortunately the 2nd part was hard so I relied on Homestars to lead the way. I ended up spending the money to get multiple assessments and quotes and at the end of the day went with the company that was the most competitive and knowledgeable (a combination not common these days). That's right - QUALITY and PRICE. And responsive. Lucas came by with short notice, ran tests and inspected our basement. He had the same recommendation as other mold specialists and Kay came up with a quote that blew others out of the water. They even removed an old freezer (that smelled like death after I took off the door) and some other pieces of junk. At the end of the day, we had our basement partially demolished down to the foundation, with all the mold being completely removed. No more musty smell. The removal crew was courteous and professional and Kay was knowledgeable, responsive and a delight to speak with. I have two young kids and wasn't going to take any chances with mold. Going with the Mold Guy was a result of a TON of research and consultation and I encourage you to leverage off the time and money I spent to make the right decision and go with the MOLD GUY.

Found Zaid from Homestars based on a number of positive reviews and I was not disappointed. He was fair and upfront with his quote, showed up promptly and did not waste any time. He even took off some time for a delay that wasn't his fault at all! All in all very good service!
