We had to relocate and replace our back door and wanted something that was mostly glass. Fieldstone was responsive from start to finish and the product is a superb custom sized door that exceeds our expectations. We recently had Pella replace our aging front door. The install was done poorly, with the latch not correctly hitting the strike plate (the door is not properly aligned), so that the door has to be given a slight lift in order to ensure it remains closed (latched). In addition, the installer removed the original sill, which was the recommendation of the salesman, but did not replace it as discussed so that the door sits too low or close to the floor. The exterior was not completed (ie the shims and spray foam are visible). That was just over 4 weeks ago. The issues were disclosed the day after the initial install, yet we still do not have a date for the completion of the project. I have spoken to no less than three other homeowners with similar customer service complaints about similar size projects.

The work completed was removal of asbestos insulation from about 60 feet of radiator pipe in an open, un-renovated basement in a 90 year old house at Broadview and Danforth. Amosite did a great job for a price that was reasonable. David came and did a proper quote, the team showed up on time and finished efficiently. The job site was left very clean. I called others for quotes, but only David actually came to see the work and could give a proper quote. Amosite also adheres to government regulations on handling of asbestos, I was not as confident in other companies I talked to. Both David and Angie are great to work with and will respond to questions promptly. If you need asbestos removed, go with Amosite.

We hired Silva on a Friday as a last minute decision to add some work to our reno. The job was finished by Tuesday, they worked around other work that was being done and did a great job. The price was negotiable and clean pretty good.
