I've had water literally running through the basement whenever there are heavy rains or when the snow melts in the Spring. The house was built in 1908 and we have lived in this home for 38 years. As we are retired, we were considering downsizing and put the house on the market. Many families loved our home, but were turned off by the basement. So I received several quotes on how to correct the problem, both from internal and external solutions. So in early January 2014, the crews came and installed an internal weeping tile system including a new sump pump. Although there was some moisture in the basement during the summer months due to high humidity which was fixed via a dehumidifier, the system has been working flawlessly and my basement is now dry....first time in probably 106 years. Richard and the Operations manager, Sal have been back twice to discuss some minor issues and they have corrected them to my satisfaction and without further cost to myself.
