Faulkner's is in a league of their own. We did a lot of research among the big box retailers and specialist stores and saw that the reviews on Faulkner's were higher than all their competitors. On something as mundane as buying white goods this might not seem all that important, but visiting their store in Etobicoke revealed clues as to why they are so highly regarded. They are very professional (i.e. give you proper, unbiased advice), they do not push anything on you, their prices are absolutely unbeatable - regardless of what specials are being run by Home Depot and company, and their delivery and after sales service is great to boot. I wouldn't even think of going to anyone else for appliances in the future unless Faulkner's didn't carry an item I absolutely wanted. One final thing - they carry high quality/high value equipment that is usually not easy to find. For example, the wine cooler we bought from them is far better than anything I have seen elsewhere for the same class/price level. For this reason alone, you might want to visit them before making any decisions elsewhere.

Liam did a great job with our crown moulding. He was fast, meticulous and pleasant. He prices his work fairly and provided good suggestions. I look forward to contacting him on future jobs.

Initial contact with this company was quite odd. The person who answered sounded very young, amateurish and even rude. He was confused and told me that they would not be able to provide service to me out in Oakville as they were busy and there was a lot of traffic that week due to the PanAm games. Fair enough, but the way he spoke left a lot to be desired. I hung up, and tried to get other quotes from other companies. It was busy season and they took time to get back to me. A few days later, I get a call from someone at Professional Roofers saying they were coming in half an hour!! I had not received quotes from anyone else, so I said, fine. They said they were busy and couldn't get to me and then suddenly a few days later they call on short notice saying they are on the way. I'm flexible, so I said OK, but I'm sure that wouldn't have worked very well with a lot of people. In any case, they cleaned my eavestrough and patched a few holes I had in it that were leaking. A few days later it rained and the leaks proved to still be there. I called them and they at first were rude and tried to blow me off saying there is no warranty on their work. I found that very surprising, especially with their high homestars rating. I made it clear I wasn't happy and that I wouldn't accept that as an answer and after a while they said they'd return. This time they didn't just "spray over" the holes, but actually patched them up properly. It rained a few times and no water leaked, so so far so good. I need to re-roof next year and I will get a quote from Professional roofers, but I hope they are more professional and less confused in 2016 than they were with me this year. One thing definitely in their favour is their competitive pricing.

Patrick is as good a tradesman as you can find. He is very pleasant, completely transparent, reasonable, flexible and professional. His prices are very competitive, his work is excellent, he leaves the work area clean at all times and he stands by his work. It was surprising to see him work so meticulously and he holds his workers to his same standard. In addition, he made suggestions to us that we are glad we heeded. He was very kind in working around the scheduling mistakes of other contractors in our renovation. He was flexible and pleasant about it as well. He is extremely busy and sometimes difficult to get a hold of, but that is what happens when you have someone do such a great job - he is in demand constantly. I wouldn't think of using anyone else for future projects.

I can't say enough good things about this company. They communicate very well whether it is about setting an appointment, pricing, selecting equipment or tentatively diagnosing a problem. What I especially like about this company is that they are flexible about procuring, installing and warrantying equipment that other contractors would not. Most HVAC companies sell a few products which they are dealers for. Being in the HVAC industry myself, I selected specific pieces of equipment from different manufacturers and Home Saving had not problem with this. Tamim was very quick in answering me by phone and email, and did so very pleasantly. He made sure everything I selected was proper for its purpose, and provided competitive quotes. After everything was installed, Tamim sent Terry over to do a complete inspection of everything installed and also the older equipment that was still in place. Terry did a fantastic job looking over and calibrating/servicing everything. He took his time, was very proficient and a very pleasant man to boot. I was so happy with my experience that I have already used Home Saving again (great experience once again) and I've already referred them to friends. I now have Home Saving on top of my list of go-to HVAC service providers.
