Very poor service after windows were installed. Even though David claims the windows were installed properly not all were and work that was to be done was not done. Would not recommend this company

Approximate cost of services:

What could this company do to improve their services?
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?

I have no idea who this homeowner could possibly be as my policy is very strict on doing WHATEVER it takes to please any homeowner to whatever extreme required including ripping out any product deemed not to perform at the highest possible level.

In 2014 I had doors installed which were delayed almost 6 months. At first Tony and the staff was very attentive but once the doors were installed, it was very difficult to get anyone to return your call. Customer service is very poor once the job is done. They always say they will review the file/account and get back to you. They never do. You have to keep calling them and be persistent to confirm a date and time for the service call. I would think twice in recommending Miranda because the service after the installation is very poor

Ms. Wong
We would first like to thank you for allowing Miranda Windows & Doors Inc. to install the doors in your home.

On November 2, 2013 you signed a contract with Miranda Windows & Doors Inc. for 2 garage doors and 2 entrance systems. As per stated on the contract, just under the job description, above your signature, delivery time is an estimated 4-10 weeks.

On November 30, 2013, just under 4 weeks after you had signed the contract, we had installed your 2 garage door systems.

On December 10, 2013, you had called our office regarding an installation date. On that day, you were informed that the estimated manufacture completion date was January 19, 2014 and this was due to the fact that manufacturer was closing for the 3 weeks during the holiday season.

As per our conversation in December, your order was ready on January 19, but unfortunately due to the frigid temperatures we would not be able to install the doors at that time. We also followed up with you with a letter on February 7, 2014. Due to the continuous stretch of extremely cold weather, we were unable to provide you with an installation date at the time.

On March 10, 2014 we had scheduled the installation date for March 28, 2014. The 2 entrance systems were installed without issue.

On April 11, 2014, you called the office with some service issues. Our service technician came to your home on April 23, 2014, addressed and completed your concerns as per your signature on our service form.

On June 9, 2014 you had placed another call to our office for another service and our technician had once again come to your home on July 4, 2104. As per our technician, the service was due to a manufacturing defect. He had informed you at that time we would have to notify the manufacturer and they would call you directly to set up a service date. As per our manufacturer the service was completed.

On April 11, 2015, you spoke to Lilly with another service request and were told at that time, that we would notify the manufacturer of your concerns and they would once again contact you directly to set up a service inspection.

Unfortunately, your recollection of the events contradicts what is recorded on our files, however, we will ensure that our manufacturer services your issues in a timely manner.
Please contact us at any time if you have any further concerns and we will continue to do our best to satisfy all your issues regarding your doors.
