We moved into an apartment and, within a week, discovered it has bedbugs. I work in an architecture firm, and knew of Homestars through my firm. I looked up "Pest Control" and after a lot of reading and comparing, was impressed with reviews for Pesticon. The reviews weren't only pretty positive, they were also really consistent. I felt like I had a picture of a man. Everyone said Waheed [last name removed-- Ed] was professional, knowledgable, kind, etc. I called and he answered on the first ring. He came the next day, calling in advance with his ETA, and arriving on time. They started going straight to work. He said it would take about an hour, and we went to lunch. He was very patient with all our questions. His answers were balanced and wise. That was a week ago. The bites have decreased considerably, but not subsided entirely. We may need to be sprayed again, which is something he includes in his price and 6-month warranty. The problem is compounded by a negligent landlord, a very creaky and crack-y building,and neighbours who are complacent. My understanding is it's more challenging to eliminate in a multi-resential building, for those reasons. I trust Waheed to do everything in his control to eliminate this from our unit. He is a man with a great deal of personal integrity, it is apparent. He takes immense pride in his work. There are a lot of people getting into this business because it's a pretty lucrative field right now. Make sure you check people's credentials and history so that like bedbugs they are not 'fly by night.' Waheed has been a working entemologist for 2 decades or so, and he's grown Pesticon through positive word of mouth. I wouldn't recommend anyone else. If more people were like him with what they do, life wouldn't have half the problems it does.
