I would strongly recommend not using this company for any designs or permit applications. In early March 2023 Priyan attended our rental property to discuss the required construction and take measurements for drawings. The initial drawings were missing three windows and the door to the garage. This should have been my first sign to run but, I did not. Ashley Design Inc. advertises services for obtaining permits on behalf of their clients, this was the main reason we used this company. When drawings were submitted to the city they excluded the critical scope of work that we were performing and documents were missing resulting in several delays and a lot of back-and-forth. As a result of the inaccuracies in the information provided to the city, when the permit was issued and the work commenced an inspector stopped the work and highlighted that the work was still not included in the submission. I had to step in to contact the city to understand the errors with what was submitted and they were significant, 1. Incorrect SOW was listed on the drawings and the permit request 2. Request was missing primary SOW being performed 3. Drawings did not accurately reflect what was being performed 4. Permit request was wrong type I managed all the next steps to get the issue rectified with the city and the permit issued. Essentially, I ended up doing the work that I hired Ashely Design to do. When I asked for a refund I was ignored. The project delays resulted in nearly $10,000 in loses. Priyan does not understand what is being requested, is not good at communicating, does not understand the process for permit submissions, and does not do proper drawings. RUN!

Mohammed was amazing. He was courteous, caring, attentive and very quick to respond. When the city needed more information he was willing to come back to reasses and provide. He emailed the city directly to clarify what information they needed. He answered all of our questions, he has made himself available if our contractor has any questions. He even did a whats app video call after we removed the drywall to answer more questions. To say he went above and beyond is to say the least and I would highly recommend him to anyone and plan on hiring him again for future projects.

we had our install completed in 2015 and the issues we had were initially so minor that I didn't bother to review them. Now we're completing a kitchen reno and removing walls and we have to pay to fix the failed structural integrity due to the shotty work that Ranjan did on the sliding door install. Denis, our sales rep was initially great but, once we encountered minor issues he had no interest in follow up. One of the handles on the window didn't work, he did get us out a new one. The lock was broken on one of the windows on our bay window. I followed up for months and neither Ranjan nor Denis came through to fix it. Ranjan seemed to have no interest in the matter and kept deferring to Denis. Fast forward to present, we had an engineer come in to assess since we're removing some walls. The Engineer found that Ranjan did not extend the lintel over the sliding door to properly support the weight of the house. The engineer said he should have used 3 - 2x4 for the supporting posts installed directly on the concrete wall below, that didn't happen. Now we're likely going to have to pay minimum 3,000 to fix this problem! They risked the structural integrity of the home and are ending up costing me more money as a result. I'm pretty disgusted to be honest. UPDATE: I have raised the satisfaction stars from 0 to 2. Here's why I raised it and why it was no more than 2 stars. I reached out to the company in response to their message. They responded back and in a fairly timely manner had their installer come out to assess. We went back and forth on the structural requirements for the fix and ended up having to buy all the material (since the installer refused to follow the engineer's scope) and the installer refused to put in the footings to support the point load of the beam, because he said the company only paid him to install the lintel. So, they sort of fixed the problem and the labour was at the cost of the company. I respect some effort but, I would still caution against having Clera replace any of your windows with doors. The installer does not understand the structural requirements and the risk is large. In fact, when we had our inspection done the inspector had us add additional structural nails (installer just threw a couple in) and made the comment that we really want to make sure that the lintel is well in place and can't come out because it is very dangerous. My husband ended up installing the footings too. All-in-all, the company at least made some effort but, they did not do it right the first time, this caused a large delay in our project, cost us more money in material, and the labour was not completed to the scope of work required for our family's safety, so I still would not recommend the company.

I hired Tri-Star roofing to repair my leaking roof. Dino came to look at the roof and said he determined the problem and advised that he needed to put proper edging and seal the area where the leak was and it would be fixed. After he explained what the issue was I asked if this could be happening in other areas around my roof and he said yes. I asked him how much to do it around the perimeter, he told me $1000.I asked him if he was certain that this would fix my leak and he said yes. This was in June and a couple months later the exact spots were leaking again. I tried calling Dino several times without a return call.He finally returned my call and advised that he was unable to receive his voicemails. I described the issue, he went back to my home to look again and said he would call me back and he never did and has never returned my call. The worst part is after they did the work I asked for the receipt and the man who did the job said he didn't have a receipt and couldn't give me one but he would write it on the back of the business card. I had already paid. I paid for a service that was never provided and I should get my money back. I also had someone else look at the repair once it started leaking and I wasn't getting a call back from Dino and the edging did nothing. Water is pooling behind the edging they put it. I'm sad that some people have such little integrity.
