My air conditioner broke down during a heat wave and Cozy Comfort was able to come out quickly to take a look. The air conditioning was fixed quickly and cost about $400 which was not cheap. The problem was that the company ran the amount through my credit card twice. I didn't pick this up until I received my credit card statement. Cozy Comfort did reverse the charge but not until 10 days after it was put through and the reversal didn't make the current statement. When I called the credit card company, I was told that I would have to pay both charges and if I didn't, interest would be charged on the unpaid amount. I'm not to impressed about having been double billed.

I am writing in response to the double billing on your Visa Card. I would like to apologize for this error on behalf of the administration department. Double billing on Visa's does rarely happen at Cozy Comfort Plus, but errors do happen.
I would like to thank you for the nice things you said about us, except for the double billing. Please advise if there were any interest charges to you because of this double billing, if there is we would be more than happy to reimburse you for them
