Barker roofing did a great job replacing my roofing shingles. Barker Roofing took the time to explain things that other roofers didn't. The job was completed on time....even quicker than promissed. Great job cleaning up the area afterwards. Very happy with the job!
Palmer Brothers did a great job installing the furnace a year ago in November. They were very neat and kept the are clean. They responded quickly as I had no heat. They provided all the information that I needed to apply for a rebate. Have had no problems with the equipment. Very happy with the service provided.
I would never use this company again. Poor workmanship, poor supervision. Rude! Left a lot of nails all over my yard. Did not install step flashing. When I had water pouring into my kitchen, they came and repaired, but did not check the other side. The next year, I had water pouring into my dining room. Same problem! Rude and ignorant customer service. 25 year shingles were curling and extremely damaged after 9 years. When I asked about warranty, Michelle wanted to charge me $75.00 to send someone out to subit warranty claim. No guarantee that the warranty claim would be honoured. The next year, the customer service gal was very surpirsed that there was a charge and agreed to do it for free. I wasted a year which then cost me money. Warning!!!! Don't use this company
My apologies for your bad experience. Chouinard Bros prides itself on excellent customer service. There is a charge when a customer has a warranty claim submitted as the amount is returned by the manufacturer to the homeowner. In fact this should not have cost anything as the $75.00 is paid back.
With regards to the nails an average home has 10000 nails on it so it is not uncommon to find some after a job is done. The information about the nails is clearly outlined in the literature given with every quote.
Most importantly IKO/CRC is in the midst of a class action law suit due to defective shingles, it is unfortunate but tens of thousands of homes have these shingles on them. We would be happy to provide guidance.
