Basement sauna purchase and for self consteuction
Incredible support through the sauna purchase process. Very attentive and quick to respond. Easy quote process to understand options. I had a lot of fun building it. Beautiful cedar and the Tylo Combi is amazing. The how to build manual was great guide for construction. Please have a look at the pics. We're loving the ambience of the backlit salt brick wall
BEWARE - Company not accountable to their sub contractors
BEWARE - This company didn't provide the service. They sent a service tech from a diferent company (per business card provided). The installer was on the phone for guidance throughout the service visit. He replaced/reinstalled two tension cables to the existing cable drum (2 hours & 20 minutes). The doors worked immediately after the service. The next use the drum fell off and both cables detached. "All Door Garage Door" accepted no accountability to the service. I was hung up on and received no callback from a manager as promised. Call centre seemed used to this type of call. I connected directly to the tech thereafter. The service tech indicated (by text, no call) i needed to replace the door for an additional $1500. (not discussed during the original service call). NO REMEDY TO DATE.
Company was quick to send someone out to home for water line replacement from home to street. Telephone advice was excellent and vlad was flexible to diagnose via text and picture/video etc. Quote was very competitive and work dine in schedule and efficiently. A new problem occurred after the initial job but vlad sent back plumber to remedy at no additional charge two days later.
Hi Jon, thank you for your review. Mister Plumber installs both 1" and 3/4" copper water lines for residential houses in Toronto. In your house, we installed 3/4" as new plumbing code in Ontario requires as a minimum size for one family dwelling. Bigger pipe means better pressure and some old connections in the house might start leaking. Even pipe joint looks OK, it doesn't tell plumbers how strong it is. New problem that occurred after main water service upgrade was older joint located upstream of water meter and was not a part of our job. Most plumbing contractors in Toronto charge for such repairs. Mister Plumber waived any additional charges because it was only one joint that was fully accessible and considered by our plumber as minor repair. Thank you. Vlad, master licensed plumber.
Surprise bill and unfairly high quote
Company was quick to send someone out to home for water line replacement from home to street (quoted 2800). while onsite I requested a snaking of sink and review of furnace thermostat hose (that I had recently replaced). This separate work was completed without quoting beforehand for an additional $360+tax surprise bill. The company agreed to rebate $160 off the following job. I didn’t follow through win the other job with this company because I subsequently was quoted $1800 by another highly rate home star company. Express roofer wasn’t interested to compete. Needless to say this company has followed through on rebating the $160
