    Electricity to pool shed

    We've been looking for a reliable electrician and found one in Solutions Electrical. Service request, estimate and scheduling quick and efficient. Dave and Cory worked for 2 days through pouring rain and sticky heat to dig a trench and run electricity to our pool shed without disrupting newly laid patio stones. They were punctual, worked hard and communicated well at every stage. Was also very impressed with how clean they left the site after finishing work. Will hire again!

    Recessed lighting installation.

    Overall I'm very pleased. The tech that came out was pleasant and professional. He answered all my questions, provided me valuable knowledge and worked in a manner to minimize any the need for any further repairs (drywall, etc). Billing and account payment was simple. They provide me the option to pay over the phone with a credit card. The rep here was also very pleasant and courteous. I should note the cost was for 2 hours of service and a permit charge. The lights and 4 recessed lights were provided by myself. I even had the holes in the ceiling cut and ready for the tech. The only negative I can point out is very similar to other review. The upfront communication could be improved. It took about a week of calls and emails to schedule a tech. Not a terribly long wait I know but this seems to be a complaint with all trades people. Good people are typically busy and I'd use these good people again.

    Light fixtures

    Very satisfied with Solutions personnel who replaced two light fixtures located in a very awkward location on a high vaulted ceiling. We dealt with three different individuals and can honestly say that they were all competent and courteous (even with our changing instructions). Definitely will hire again if the need arises.

    Washroom vent installation

    We've had Solutions Electrical in at least four times previously to do various jobs in our home in Aurora and once again, thanks to Tony and Joe. Joe arrived on time and ready to go. The work was completed on time and Joe was very informative and polite and the cleanup after the job was outstanding. Thank you to Solutions Electrical - we will continue to call on you for our electrical needs and recommend you to our friends.

    Installed 2 GFI plugs for landscape lighting and water pump. Run underground line

    We were getting our landscaping done and needed a couple of GFI plugs installed outside for our landscape lighting and water feature water pump. Another vendor I was considering did not pan out so I found Solutions Electric on Homestars and gave them a call. My project was running behind and we needed the job done very quickly. I got a quick call back and Tony sent a crew out quickly. The work was done same day. Crew was friendly and worked efficiently. Would definitely use them again.

    check disfunctional circuit, replace old switches, change and rewire two way switches, install smoke and carbon monoxide detector

    I have used the services of Solutions Electrical on two occasions, and both times was impressed by their professional attitude and workmanship. They listened carefully to our needs, gave us a timely appointment, appeared on time, did all the requested work within the expected time, and cleaned up the site before leaving. They did excellent work, and gave professional advice when asked. As a long-time home owner, I have found Solutions Electrical a pleasure to deal with, and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

    Service to correct short in kitchen

    We had a kitchen outlet cause an apparent short. We tried resetting circuit breaker with no success. We called Solutions for service. Jerome setup the service and we had a techat the house in just overz an hour. He checked the circuit and outlet to discover we did not have a short . He showed us how to correctly reset the breaker for future reference and also checked the other outlets as well. Good service with quick response. Recommended for electrical problems

    Panel Upgrade / EV Charger Install

    Solutions Electrical came by for a EV Charger installation and panel upgrade. Tony was great for providing a clear estimate for work required. My installation was fairly complicated (finished basement) and Joe and his team were able to complete the upgrade/install with very little disruption to my house. Great work guys.

    miscellaneous projects

    I had been accumulating a whole bunch of small electrical fixes needed and Solutions took care of them all! It was such a relief to get everything done, from installing new light fixtures, removing old baseboard heaters and their controls, installing a rangehood fan, upgrading light switches, including a stove plug and a very high voltage and dangerous plug, etc. They were fast, efficient, tidy and so professional. I am a little paranoid about electrical fixes and fire hazards but they were fantastic and made sure everything was safe and upgraded. I would recommend them wholeheartedly and they were very competitive pricewise.

    Keeping the Kitchen Safe!

    For years, I was using 1 out of 4 outlets in the kitchen. One didn't work, one didn't hold the plug, one couldn't put the plug inside, so I was left with one. I called Solutions Electrical after doing some in-depth research on electricians. Tony was amazing, very polite and professional and worked with me on the best time for the electrician to come out to my place. Once the electrician came out, he made sure he covered his boots even though I told him he didn't have to since the place was in a moving state and outside was dry. He insisted! :) The electrician explained to me how the outlets are connected and how they are connected to the panel, explained the issue with all the outlets (even the supposed 'good' outlet) and he explained it to me so I would understand. He got the work done in the time they stated the work would be done. He even went out of his way to explain the fan I planned to install and what to look for and how to take down an existing fixture. For the first time, since I can remember, I actually felt comfortable with a company that wasn't out to pick my pockets! They may be a tad expensive, but I am more than happy to pay for good honest and safe work - a rarity these days. I would definitely use them for all my future electrical needs and will be referring them to others!
