    Garden Door

    In December 2015 I purchased a Novatech Garden door from Brock Doors and Windows. The door was determined to be defective by a Brock representative and a Novatech representative and was replaced in March 2016. The replacement door was also defective. The replacement door was confirmed to be defective on 4 separate site visits by 2 Brock Doors and Windows representatives and 2 Novatech representatives. After countless emails and phone calls Brock Doors and Windows manager Randy Sibald informed me that there was nothing they were willing to do to repair or replace the door. A July 2016 written request for a refund was ignored. I brought the matter before the Ontario Small Claims Court (SC-16-00009588-0000). Brock Doors and Windows chose to ignore the Plaintiffs Claim and were found in default by the Ontario Small Claims Court judge. Brock Doors and windows was issued an "Endorsement Record/ Order of the Court" (April 10,2017) requiring that they pay the issued judgement. They have ignored the request for payment of the Order of the Court. This company left me with a door that they determined to be defective, denied my requests to have the situation remedied, and has now ignored a Ontario Court Order to make payment.

    Window

    They came fairly quick after ordering the job was done in a timely manner the crew was professional and they clean up after their job was done, they did not stop till the work was completed

    New Front Entry Door and Rear Sliding Doors

    Would not recommend this company. Ordered doors November 2016 for February 2017 installation. Installation date was booked in January 2017. On the day/time slot of install, the sub-contracted installer called me to tell me the front entry door wasn't available. No advance warning. Brock didn't know where the front door was. After re-scheduling, I had to re-schedule again because the door delivery to their warehouse was delayed a second time. I had to request for a credit- to which I received it. However, if customer service was a priority, this would have been offered and I shouldn't have to ask. Eventually, the front door was installed, but with the wrong hardware. Another credit was offered, but I wanted the hardware that I ordered. So I let it go. As for my rear sliding doors, the sub-contracted installers had to come back twice to install it. As I was renovating my house, my general contractor (GC) mentioned how poorly the installation job was. Per my GC, it was not installed plumb or level, and not properly sealed. Sub-contracted installer defended his work. After the complaint to Brock's installation coordinator, they came back to re-install the doors properly, with supervision from my GC. A few weeks after the install when it rained frequently, there was a leak between the sliding doors and the attached transom window. Novatech manufactured the door like this. As it was covered under Novatech's warranty, their own installer from QC came out to fix the door. These doors ordered were from Novatech, so you might as well go to another dealer to get better service. Because of this experience, I took my window business elsewhere to a boutique dealer my GC recommended (it was my decision to try Brock out). The service I received was received was night and day from what I received from Brock. You're spending $20k-$30k. Don't risk it with Brock.

    Replaced all the window in our home

    We called Brock widows after hearing the add on the radio. The service was excellent ! Every person we dealt with was very professional and helpful. Kevin our sales rep advised us on which widows would be best for our home. The installer, Amry, went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the windows . I would recommend Brock Window and Doors to my family and friends.

    Bathroom Windows

    Back Door Lock Fixed

    My Backdoor Lock on my Sliding Glass door broke and it wouldn't lock anymore.... I called the condo who in turn caled Brock Doors and Windows...... and they sent out NICK who was very prompt, got the job done in no time at all, with a great sense of humor and very polite .. It was a pleasure to have him in my home, and he did a great job. Brock Doors and Windows have GREAT GREAT Fixers !

    Walk in Bay Window

    I had a couple of quotes for this window and Brock gave me (not the cheapest or the most expensive) but we felt it was a fair quote....we have used Brock in the past to install windows in our bedrooms upstairs so were familiar with there work ethics. Were on time with the install and did a very good job both with the install and framing outside and inside. They were professional and made sure the outside was cleaned up and safe for my kids.

    New Large Front Windows

    The front windows of our Day program got a large crack and became unsafe for our clients. We contacted several companies to come and give us a quote. When Steve Frame came to see us he was amazed by the clients we serve and felt that something should be done. He contacted the president and was able to get approval to have our windows completely paid for!! Thank you Steve for your amazing understanding and giving back to the community. This allowed us to afford new computers for our program (serving adults with developmental disabilities)! The crew was great and very supportive, thank you Nick, Gino, Sebastian & Alex:)

    Window Replacement

    It took some pain and a couple of months to come to a successful installation with Brock Windows, but ultimately after two months from first install date to final project completion(one window was mis-measured twice), we are happy with both the installation and the windows. The removal of our old windows, however, was not completed without leaving numerous shards of glass all over the property. Brock Windows provided us with a $150 credit due to the hours I spent cleaning the shards of glass, which was not a huge credit based on a $30,000 order, but they did issue the credit in a timely manner. If all work was completed within a couple of days, and if the crew had left a clean job site, this could have easily been a 10/10 review.

    Jennifer, it's unfortunate to hear of the trials you felt you've encountered thus far into your window installation. We apologize if glass was left on your property, but due to the circumstances we had to work under with your home remodelling underway, it may have been hard for your installation crew to locate any glass that may have accidentally been left behind. From the images you've provided, however, it is apparent that there is a large sum- it is possible that the glass shown was hidden under debris that was already located on your property prior to our appointment. Our crews are very meticulous when it comes to clean-up following an installation and the images we have on file depict a major renovation taking place in your home, apart from the window replacement. Again, we'd like to apologize if you were required to tidy any remaining debris as a result of the replacement. In regards to the flashing, we do have it noted in our system that your Installation Crew will address these concerns on the day of your appointment of May 23rd. We understand our Installation Manager tended to your property and assessed the situation. He explained that we will cover costs for your eavestrough company to come and repair the flashing. You were not charged an additional $1000 for framing, and subsequently your Installation Coordinator explained that would not be the case, and was an unfortunate miscommunication between you and someone else involved in your project. We're very sorry for the inconveniences you've experienced, and look forward to rectifying the remaining concerns on May 23rd.

    windows installation

    Stefan and David were the installers of the windows in our house. They have installed 12 windows and 1 bow window. They have done an amazing job. We are very happy with their great effort that the installation was done in a timely manner as promised. Philip the salesman was very knowledgeable of our needs from the time we met him. We highly recommend Brock Window and thank all the staff that were involved for the excellent job. We will choose Brock Window And Doors for our next project. Thank you Sabita H
