I would highly recommend A1 Quality Chimney. Bob did an exceptional job repairing our chimney. His workmanship is excellent. He was on time and completed sooner than I expected. They are exceptionally reasonable and a wealth of knowlege. Very ethical and reliable.

We would have no hesitation in recommending the services of A1 Quality Chimney for any cleaning or servicing of chimneys. For the past 5 years, we have used A1 Quality Chimney at two of our stacked townhouse complexes in the King & Strachan area. Bob and his team are truly amazing at scheduling the appointments with owners, who are sometimes difficult to reach, or to have them remain home for this mandatory work. They leave notes on the doors advising as to when they will be back so that we are able to complete the entire complex in a timely manner. We have received many compliments from our condominium owners on how professional and how pleasant they are. For many years, we used other companies and were never able to complete every unit and the burden of reaching owners was left to Management. Since we started using A1 Quality Chimney, they have handled all of the bookings and follow-up.

A-1 did a fast and professional job on repairing serious cracks at the top of my 2 large chimneys. The job was complicated but they finished easily in 2 days. They used superior matierials than the originals. I also use them to sweep yearly. Top notch work.

We needed a new liner for our gas furnace. Rick provided a competitive quote and came on Saturday to install it. It turned out to be a bigger job than anticipated because the liner had deteriorated badly but Rick and his partner completed the job diligently. They reported that we were missing shingles on our roof which was helpful. Unfortunately, our gas water heater was not working the next day (turned out to be an unrelated problem) and Rick returned on Sunday to re-light the pilot light. The owner, Bob, followed up on Monday to ensure that the hot water was still working which was much appreciated. Great job!

Bob from A-1 came in person to evaluate the cost of installing a new liner. Upon seeing signs of condensation he immediately booked one of his guys to come clean it up to facilitate further evaluation. Rick cleaned it up and discovered that the old liner had rotted away and was partially obscured. A major problem that would likely involve major cost to repair. Both guys were courteous, timely, and very knowledgable.

We needed a new chimney liner for a gas furnace and hot water tank. Bob came out the same day I called him and gave a competitive quote. Rick came and did the installation the next day. It was a lot of work to remove the old liner since it was all corroded and in pieces, but Rick worked diligently and efficiently. Excellent service! I'm very happy with the work!

We had someone from another company come and take a look at our chimney as there was smoke coming into the room. They said we needed repairs coting more then $1000. I wanted a second opinion so I called A1 quality chimney. The serviceman was on time and, after cleaning and inspecting the chimney, explained the reason why the smoke was coming in. Turns out the only problem was to worm the chimney with lit newspaper and open a wondow to feed air to the fire. He saved us over a lot of money.

It’s been a long journey looking for an honest chimney cleaning company. A-1 Quality Chimney is the *fourth* chimney cleaning service that I’ve used over the years. The first three, without exception, tried to scam me by telling me that my chimney was falling apart and needed thousands of dollars of repairs. The last chimney company, which will remain nameless, really took the cake. They told me that I needed to pay them thousands of dollars to repair the chimney, that if I didn’t do these repairs immediately my house would burn down and, to top it off, if I didn’t hire them to do the work, they would report me to my insurance company when my house burned down for negligence. Three different reliable chimney repair companies later confirmed that my chimney was as sound as the day is was built. So! I hoped that A-1 Quality would be different. And they were! Sean was courteous, professional and did a great job. And told me that my chimney is fine. No scam! A welcome relief. So at long last I’ve found a reliable chimney cleaning company that’s on the up and up. It only took me eight years.

A-1 Quality Chimney clean was great to deal with. They were on time, well equipped, they answered all our questions. They cleaned our chimney really well and now it's not so stinky! I would definitely use them again.
