    Chimney cleaning

    Excellent Service. These people really know what they are doing. They aren't money grabbers. If you don't need it done they will tell you. Not living in same location any longer but if I go back, I will use them in a heartbeat!! Really nice people too. :-D

    Chimney & Fireplace Inspection and Cleanup

    Broadcasted a request for quote, they were 1st to reply with a reasonable price and explanations. Good service and tutoring on fireplace usage. Feels a little too expensive for the performed job, but no complains about the quality and expertise.

    wett inspection and cleaning

    Rick came same day I called, did a thourough inpection.Was very helpful with sharing his knowledge of drafts,heat conduction and had a very possitive attititude.I fealt I got more service than what I paid for.Was verry pleased:]

    Complete Chimney Replacement

    Our chimney has been "degrading" for the past 5 years. The final straw was when birds set up homes in the voids created by missing bricks this year!!!!A-1 Quality Chimney was one of the first contractors that we called based on their Home Stars reviews. Bob personally came to our house to .inspect the damage. Unlike other contractors, there were no high pressure tactics only factual information and an excellent, low priced quotation. They also provided the best warranty of all contractor we had quote. Knowing that we had a wedding reception at our house in several weeks, Bob managed to give our job a high priority. The crew was literally on site in days from our call to confirm the order! The on site crew was great; careful and meticulous. The brick was matched exactly (a major concern for us) and the chimney looks great. The work site was left cleaner than they found it! I would recommend A-1 Chimney (1986) Ltd. to anyone in need of chimney work. Clearly a service-oriented business who truly care about customer satisfaction. .

    Chimney Stack

    These guys are fabulous, especially Owen! My chimney stack blew off the roof of the house. They came the following day to give me an estimate. We had to wait for a week for the parts to be delivered. In the meantime we were forecasting 3 days of rain. I called Owen concerned about the hole in the roof and he had his assistant come to the house the following day to cover the hole and didn't charge me. When the parts arrived the following week, they showed up on time and did a great job! They are friendly and professional and reasonable in price. Great job well done and I would certainly call them again for their services.

    Chimney Cleaning after a chimney fire

    We contacted A-1 Quality Chimney the day after we had a chimney fire. They responded quite quickly, arriving shortly after my telephone call. Their service was very comprehensive. They cleaned both our basement chimney and main floor chimney and inspected all of the components for both. After the service, I was contacted by the fire department and informed that I needed to provide them with proof that we had the chimneys cleaned and inspected. I contacted A-1 Quality Chimney about this and they faxed the proof of service to the fire department within an hour. I would definitely use their services again.

    Chimney cleaning and inspection

    The experience that I have had with A1 Quality Chimney was very positive. I was able to contact them with no trouble, the people in the office were very courteous and worked with me on pricing and scheduling and gave me a discount for my multiple fireplaces. The technician who came was also very courteous, personable and professional as well as very tidy. He did a great job. I will be looking into using them to convert two of my fireplaces to gas as well. I would definitely recommend them. Fantastic service at a very fair price! A+

    Inspection and resolution of draft issue.

    I was doing a masonry job for a Client of mine in Forest Hill. He told me of an issue he had with his wood burning fireplace chimney. There are two fireplaces on different levels exhausting through this chimney. Both had poor draft flow (the smoke was coming back in). I needed help with this so I called A1 Quality Chimney to come in to assess the situation. They were able to get their senior technician to the site the following day. This was desirable to me as it fit into me and my client’s busy schedule. Upon inspection they were able to isolate and resolve the cause of the issue in very short order. They also fully cleaned both fireplaces and chimneys and instructed my client on the best practices for using his fireplaces to prevent the situation from occurring again. A1's promptness and care in handling the situation tells me I got the right guys to do the job. I have since recommended A1 Quality Chimney in cases that required special attention and for regular cleanings. They have helped me by helping my clients. I recommend A1.

    Chimney Cleaning

    We were so pleased with A1 Quality Chimney! The previous homeowners had not cleaned the chimney in several years so the company certainly had their task cut out for them. They were professional, helpful and made excellent recommendations for proper chimney maintenance. The price was also very reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone!

    Chimney cleaning and inspection

    The fireplace technician, Rick, was fantastic. I was very pleased with his work. He was very informative. He took the time to explain to me all of the aspects of my fireplace in detail and was very patient. It is refreshing that there are still companies out there who care about their customers. The office staff was also very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely use A-1 Quality Chimney again.
