Alliance came to us through a recommendation and we were very pleased from the initial contact with Timea. From measurement to budgeting, their attention to detail and ability to meet our timelines for installation made it easy to deal with Alliance. The flooring installation was completed ahead of schedule with no surprises. We will be calling Alliance again without hesitation.

After far too many shopping trips, we happened upon Alliance on Steeles Ave. It was almost closing time, but Timea was very patient and knowledgeable about her products. We made an agreement to purchase our enginnered flooring and picked it up today. Again, after hours, but they accommodated us. I would highly recommend this store and their sales staff. They carry high quality products only, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We were shopping around to replace the carpet in our 3 bedrooms and replacing a water damaged hardwood landing. We short listed 3 hardwood floor companies based on the reviews on this site. After we visited all 3 showrooms, we decided to go with Alliance Floor Source based on the amazing service we received from Timea. We then dealt with Nemo with the onsite measurements and finalizing the wood selection and scheduling. The whole carpet removal, hardwood installation and clean up were great...that is until the last day (2 day install job) I guess the hardwood installation contractors were tired and wanted to go home but when they put the caulking, they didn't watch their hands so there were dark smears on the baseboard and it looked messy (wasn't clean and seamless as the master and office). Unfortunately the last room was for the nursery and had a lot of natural light so it was very obvious, so my husband had to paint the baseboard. The other thing we weren't very impressed with was the after sale service. We gave the balance owing to the installers after they completed the job. We would have thought we would have gotten called from Alliance Floor Source to confirm they received it and if we were happy with everything, but no call/email. We decided to call them 2 weeks later for confirmation of payment and to send us an invoice that we paid in full. Also they forgot to credit us the on site visit cost since we decided to go with their company, so they also had to do that. Overall we are happy (hardwood floors are beautiful) but not impressed with after sale service.

We were replacing the carpet in two bedrooms in our condo, 10 years old. We had two recommendations to use Alliance Floor Source. This company worked with us all the way through the procedure and I can't say enough good things about this company, their work and assistance in completing this project 100% to our satisfaction

I have used Alliance a few times now, and each and every occasion they surpass my expectation. They are very courteous, patient, I never feel pressured to make a decision quickly. They were even able to find extra materials for discontinued products, which made my repair a breeze instead of a nightmare. I can only speak highly of their selections in their large showroom and the quality or the materials they carry. Highly recommend them to everybody!

I have used Alliance Floor Source before and was very satisfied with the quality of their workmanship and material, as well as with their meticulous attention to detail, quality, punctuality and accuracy. So, it was natural that I would include them among the 3 bids for this most recent project. I ultimately selected them for the job and am very pleased with my decision. The most recent job was a tricky one, as the house is not new and the sub-floor was not even. There were several other, rather interesting, challenges that they had to overcome as well. They had to use their knowledge and experience to deal with the challenges and they performed well above my expectations. Their pricing was very competitive and there is no match to the quality of material, workmanship, cleanliness and overall satisfaction. I rarely give anyone a 10/10, but Alliance Floor Source deserve this top grade. In summary, Alliance Floor Source is a hard act to imitate by their competitors and a goal that contractors and suppliers should strive for. My wife and I had just moved into our first house in 2011 and wanted to get the hardwood floors refinished as they were pretty beat up. We researched a lot of companies but decided on AFS due to the numerous positive reviews here and awards. We met with Lehel at the store to discuss our options and the type of finish we wanted. He was very patient with us in answering all of our questions. An appointment was setup so Lehel could take some measurements of the floor and provide us with a quote but it was a little inconvenient for him but he made an exception to accommodate us. Approximately a week and a half later Lehel's crew showed up to start the job. They were friendly and answered any questions we had. The job was pretty quick and they were done within a few days and the floors looked great. Thanks for a job well done and we would recommend your business to friends or family looking to do any floor work.

One of the negatives of living in a condo is the risk of water damage. We have wood floors pretty much through out, originally installed by Alliance. Due to a leaky AC unit, the floor in one of our rooms had to be replace and Alliance were amazing. Nemo assessed the damage and his pricing was acceptable to our insurance company which eliminated unpleasant haggling with them. The installers were polite, efficient and incredibly neat. They did an excellent job laying down the new floor and replaced all the furniture to perfection. They stacked the ruined flooring and removed it from the condo without a trace of any rubbish or dust. The painter arrived the next day and completed the touchup of the baseboards. Both craftsmen were very respectful of our condo regulations regarding noise and use of elevators. All in all, Alliance is an extremely efficient and client oriented company. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We are thrilled to have found Alliance! Not only did they have the Mirage hardwood floors we were looking for and at a great price (even lower then Costo) but their customer service and installation is Top Notch! We were living in our home during the installation process and opted to have the installers help us with the removal of carpet and moving large pieces of furniture (beds and dressers) they treated our furniture and home with the up-most respect. They also cleaned up at the end of the day and at the end of the job. Nemo and Timea were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. This company is proud of their customer service, products, and installed flooring, as they should be. We are enjoying our beautiful new floors that were install on time. We would highly recommend Alliance.

Alliance Floor Source is an excellent company to deal with. They are professional, knowledgeable and patient. They answer all questions, even if it seems silly or repetitive. Timea, Lehel and Nemo are fabulos to deal with. The pricing is very competitive and better. Estimated delivery of product is dead on. I would highly recommend Alliance Floor Source any time.
