I am very impressed with Derek and Alpine. Derek was great to work with. Knew what he was talking about during the estimate and always returned my calls. He promised that the work would be done the week after the quote and delivered! The crew was great and the clean up was perfect. I would definitely recommend this company!

Great company came when they said they would and did a top quality job. Finished the roof in one day and did an amazing clean up. You would never know they were there.

I am not a roofer, and therefore cannot judge the quality of roofing workmanship directly. However, because of those things that I did observe, I am confident that George and Andreas did an excellent job. George, for example, spent quite a long time in an uncomfortable position to ensure that the flashing and shingling under an overhang was done properly. Our kitchen range hood requires an 8" diameter duct through the attic to the roof. The ducting was only 6 years old. I asked George to re-use the existing roof vent. He did not seem happy about this. I then asked Derek to call him and tell him the same thing. A few hours later, George came in and showed me the new vent he was going to install, because there had been leaking in that area, of which I was not aware. He could simply have said to himself, "Everybody insists on not replacing the vent, so I can safely ignore it." Instead, he insisted on replacing it, so that the leak would be eliminated. The other way to judge quality is from the cleanup. Everything was left spotless. We could not find a single nail. Andreas climbed up and down the steep ravine behind our house to retrieve wind-blown bits of plastic. Andreas climbed a tree to do the same. Based on our non-professional observations, we believe that the workmanship was excellent.

Hiring Alpine to replace my roof became a nightmare. Two weeks after having the roof replaced, leaking started. Alpine said they had repaired the problem but a few days later we again had a leak, so we went into the attic ourself to see where the leaks was coming from and found a hole rotted through the plywood beside a roof vent. Alpine not only did not replace an obviously rotten board when doing the roof, they did not replace the roof vent with a proper exhaust vent, hung the exhaust pipe on a nail where it could rot the other side of the already rotten board and then shingled over all this. When we contacted Alpine with the pictures they promised to come out the next week and make all the repairs. But before they could come to repair that, in a thunder storm we now had shingles flying off the house. We could now see that there was no underlay. We had paid for the 3ft ice barrier and underlay over the ENTIRE roof. We contacted Alpine immediately and were told "you have underlay where you need it" and they would not come and replace the whole roof starting with the "paid for" underlay. The employee hung up on me saying he was busy. So with a roof not yet a month old one, we had to hire a second roofer to replace the roof. When the Alpine roof was removed there was no underlay anywhere on the roof, just bare plywood. This time we replaced the missing board and installed the correct vents for bathroom exhausts. I have since been told that the bldg code for the style of my roof must have underlay and exhaust vents correctly vented and the shingle warranty is void without, too. I'd caution home owners to watch the i stallions and be sure you get what you paid for.

We had our roofs replaced by Alpine about 5 years ago. I called for service, and they came round in the time promised and checked the roof. It was moisture in the bathroom vent after the recent cold, not a leak. The guys even fixed a gutter bracket while up there. All at no cost. These guys stand by their work, and are helpful.

From several alternatives, we picked Alpine Roofing to replace our 20-year old roof. They had the best price and their service was top-notch. They delivered on time and the workmanship was high quality. A few years after the roof was installed, a few shingles detached in a very strong wind storm. Alpine sent someone to replace the detached shingles in a short period of time, and again, did a top-notch job. I'd recommend them on the basis of good workmanship, great price and solid customer service.

Alpine roofing replaced my roof in 2005. A couple of weeks ago due to the wind storm I noticed some of my shingles are lifting. I called Alpine roofing to check out my roof and they replaced a couple of shingles free of charge.
