    Emergency Sewage Pump Repair

    I had a sewage pump fail and drain backup issue up in our laundry room. Atlas came within a couple of hours, assessed the problem, provided some temporary relief and will replace the pumps tomorrow. I was very happy with Mansell at Atlas and hope the rest of the repair will be as satisfying. Im not thrilled at the service life of the Liberty pump which has failed just 1 year after the warranty expiring but I will take that up with the manufacturer.

    Horrible company to deal with

    I called Atlas to come look at my garage heater. what concerned me right away is they didn't ask me what unit I have before trying to book the appointment. I asked the gentleman why he hasn't asked me what unit I have and he said they don't need to know that. I should've gone with my gut at this point and not booked the appointment. Once the repair technician came (way outside of the window I was given for the appointment), he tells me they need to order a part (draft motor). He looked at it for 5 mins. For three days after I hear nothing, I call them everyday and get the run around. Finally I hear today they don't deal with this unit and can't get the part. They've basically washed their hands of it. So they charged me a $165 diagnostics fee to tell me this isn't the type of unit they can work on. Unreal. When I escalated via phone, they tell me it's policy NOT to ask what unit the customer has. This right here should tell you everything you need to know about this company.

    Yearly furnace maintenance

    Nasir informed me when he would arriving. I appreciated that he put on boot covers when entering the house. He is a very pleasant young man. He gave me a quick tutorial on my furnace humidifier which I did not know how to adjust for the weather. A positive appointment.

    Basement flood remediation and renovation

    Atlas care was amazing and we would unhesitatingly recommend them to friends and family. The flood remediation was fast, completed within 24 hours of the flood, thorough and properly done. The removal of our contents to storage was also fast and professional. The renovations with the drywall, tiling, and painting impressed my wife who is an architect and not easily impressed. In fact we have used them for some small additional jobs that we have paid for since. If you are looking for high quality work done in a timely, professional and at the agreed upon price we would highly recommend AtlasCare

    Job gone wrong

    Hired to fix a broken under-sink pipe and re-attach sink for a tenant. They showed up but could not do that job that day and would return Monday. (This was not a problem.) However they told me they had performed a snaking of a different sink which the tenant had asked for but I had neither asked for nor authorized. Charged me $400. (Which I paid.) They told me they had also told tenant they needed a new toilet and booked a toilet replacement for $1000 that I knew nothing about. I told them they should have gotten authorization first. They told me they did not want to come back to the property but wanted to be paid for the snaking, which was fine, and I paid. As it turns out got a much cheaper quote from someone else. Not very efficient process. Spent most of a day on the phone with various people trying to figure out what was going on. Had I not happened to call, I would have been charged for toilet replacement I knew nothing about.

    Furnace maintenance

    I have used Atlas Care for more than 30 years and have had no issues with both the maintenance and installation of new equipment, Bob the technician noticed something that had gone unnoticed since the installation of my new furnace and it was a small thing but it was also a redundant thing which if not put in the correct position would have stopped air flow through my humidifier as the new one has a damper built in, so we removed it and now it won't be an issue in the future. Thanks Bob.

    Plumbing

    I was told they were currently having a promotion for no-cost consultations. I was still charged $100 plus tax for only speaking with the plumber about my issue. I didn't hire them because of their dishonest business practices.

    Excellent service

    Excellent service from Start to finish. Highly recommend AtlasCare as we have used them in the past for a new hot water tank and now to fix and update plumbing fixtures. Knowledgeable technicians were prompt ,friendly and cleaned up the relevant debris Thanks again
