I have been with Battikha Security for 4 years and I am very pleased with the service and reliability. I have a young niece that lives with me and the system provides peace of mind.

Battikha security systems were sales reps for chubb(counter force). Now they are selling services for Securetek.Please ask and read the new contract carefully.This company's sales rep will try to force you to sign the contract and they will even ensure you that you will not be penalized by your company if you cancel the contract which is not true.Since he ( (Paul) was the same sales rep for my previous company i asked him the same question(this was happen over the phone conversation) and he ensured me nothing to worry about.I was not home and my husband sign the contract but before he signed(my husbaand has issues with his both eyes ) my husband put me on the phone with speaker on and i ask the same question of cancellation policy.Pual assured me i am safe and he will leave a typed letter for the previous company and once i will mail this letter i am off the hook.Paul never mentioned me that i have to give previous company 60 days written notice.Paul offered me a deal from this new company which 6 months no charge for service .I did not give previous company 60 days written notice i have to pay that company for 2 months service charges....so basically i only got 4 months of free services.i called the office and explained every thing to their manager ANNETTE SPINE but she didn't want to hear anything and acted like a non professional person. The right procedure should have me cancelling the previous company by giving them 60 days notice and accepted Paul offers after 60 days but with his assurance and his phone calls everyday to me didn't give me enough time to ask previous company about their cancellation policy and plus when its coming from the sales rep who worked for the previous company i was satisfied with his answer and had no doubts.

Our home alarm system was installed by Battikha following the purchase of our home. The installation process was fairly seamless and thankfully we have not required customer service often as I found them to be curt and dismissive. Unfortunately, I find that this company is incessant in their telephone calls suggesting various tweaks/ upgrades to their system. If this is not something that appeals to you, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

I had a Battikha Security rep arrive at my front door at the time when we were considering getting an alarm. Part of their promotion was a rebate of up to $100 for getting a system. The rebate would take the form of a gift card for either Petro Canada or Shell. In order to get the rebate, I had to go through a number of steps. To make a long story short, there was a dramatic difference between the actual process and what I understood at the time of the sale. Over a number of months, the company and I discussed the situation. I am pleased to say that the company is now committing to making it right, and has told me that they have made changes to their sales practices to ensure that this does not happen in the future. On the another note, their installer was awesome. We have Rogers home phone and only one phone jack in the whole house, tucked in a difficult part of the house to access. The installer creatively reworked some wiring to get the system hooked up, and did the job quickly and neatly.

Recently I had a sales person come to my front door offering me an ADT Security system with a gas rebate program to help offset the cost of the monthy payments. In a nutshell I was misinformed or whatever you want to call it. Here's why. I asked this simple question can I choose any gas chain use the coupon in Sept at Petro and in Oct use the coupon at Sunoco and was told by the sales person and with is supervisor sitting across from him the following There are no restrictions on the gas company and the receipts mailed in can be from any gas company I want. After signing the contract and looking to get more information on the gas promotion I ended up speaking to the manager who had to get the info I wanted from the company that runs the gas promotion. You would think the office manager would know exactly how the program worked and would not need to contact the gas rebate company to find out how the program worked. Here is the info Choose 1 gas company only ....and mail in $100 dollars of receipts for a month from that gas companny and in return you would receive a $25 dollar coupon to be used the following month. She then advised that the paper work I received has this information and she read the paper work to me and I asked does it state anywhere that you can only choose 1 gas company chain and she said no and followed with "when you receive the paperwork in 6-8wks it does state that you have to choose 1 gas company. I asked "Is that not something your sales people should know when going door to door and the fact that your sales person told me otherwise is not a mistake or misjudgement on their part and her anwer was no because you get this information in 6-8wks. I called the gas rebate company to get the scoop of how the program worked and even the explanation given to me by the office manager was incorrect. These people are selling a gas program and no one at Battikha knows how the program works correctly. Who knew

I WAS REALLY PLEASE WITH THE SERVICE AND THE QUALITY OF THE WORKMANSHIP, I JUST BOUGHT MY FIRST HOME AND DID NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT SECURITY BUT THE SALESMAN WAS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND PATIENT WITH ME THAT I FELT SO COMFORTABLE AND EVEN THE INSTALLER WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND TOOK HIS TIME TO TEACH ME HOW TO USE ALL THE FEATURES, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN REPUTABLE ALARM COMPANY I WOULD RECOMMEND BATTIKHA SECURITY, THEY DEFINITELY ARE ONE OF THE BEST AND MOST PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.
