Domenic is a great guy. He personally came back to our store after his job was completed for the specific reason of telling us how completely happy he was with the service, price and product he received from Brampton Hardwood Floors. His installer, Peter, has referred many customers to us over the years, and continues to do so. We are always sure to provide them, and all of our customers, with respectful, courteous and honest service. These types of reviews are extremely distressing to us here at Brampton Hardwood Floors. We are very sorry that this reviewer feels this way. We pride ourselves on our exemplary customer service and expert advice, and would never allow the type of sales behaviour that Melanie speaks of. If this were the case, we certainly would not have grown from humble beginnings in Brampton almosty thirty years ago to the largest hardwood flooring store in the Greater Toronto Area, serving about thirty thousand satisfied customers per year. Melanie recently purchased some mouldings from us to compliment the hardwood flooring she also bought. After test painting a couple of mouldings herself at home, she called us demanding to return them all. We immediately offered to take back the unpainted mouldings, but unfortunately could not accept the painted ones as they were now unsellable. Unfortunately, Melanie insisted that even the mouldings she had painted would have to be returned. For obvious reasons, we could not do so and we had not heard further from her until seeing this hurtful review. We therefore thought that she had used the mouldings and was pleased with the results. It is very unfortunate that Melanie chose to do this rather than returning to speak to us about a resolution, but our sales manager is always here to help if she would like to come by.

This is largely due to our always trying to make every client leave our store feeling that they got the best possible product, service and price. Please come see us any time.

We at Brampton Hardwood Flooring are very sorry that this reviewer feels this way. Customer service and expert advice is always a top priority for us. We recall that a gentleman came in to our store with very specific products in mind, purchased them and left without sharing the details of his project. That was of course fine, however he came back to return the products, telling us he hadn't tried them but they were unsuitable for his needs. Unfortunately the sealer he purchased was not returnable as, similar to paint purchased from a paint or hardware store, we could not resell it to other customers as we could never be certain that it had remained unopened and therefore untainted or unchanged. We do have a 25% restocking fee that is well publicized on signs throughout the store, on the counter of the cash-out desk and on the sales receipt. The customer then told us details about his project so we suggested some products that may be helpful to him and offered to apply the restocking fee toward them as a credit. However, he insisted on the return, so in the continued interest of customer service we accommodated him by taking the sealer back at a complete loss to us and reducing the restocking fee to 15%. His original purchase was approximately $100, so this resulted in a restocking fee of about $15. He agreed to this and we felt we had done all we could to accommodate him. We hope he can understand our position and we wish him all the best.

Many families and friends refer each other to our store after making purchases from us. We also see a steady stream of new customers whom are referred by industry professionals such as contractors, installers, builders and designers. Maintaining our excellent reputation is very important to us, so we are always sure to quickly and politely take care of the needs of every single customer of the almost thiry thousand we service each year.
