    Hardwood floor

    Dealing with then for many years and never a problem, always best pricing and best products available, everything ready to go in stock when I need it, I send all my family there too

    Hardwood

    I would not recommend this company to anyone. We bought an order of hardwood flooring for 1300 square feet after being told that it was good quality wood at a special discount price (not the "China or Costco brand," the salesperson said). Our installer refused to go any further because of the defects in the groove and tongue mechanism. When we called Brampton Hardwood, the manager said, "Yes, what do you expect at that price ? Your installer will just have to work harder." Terrible service. When we spoke to Vince on the phone afterwards, he admitted that the tongue and groove mechanism would be defective in some of the wood. Your reply to this review is completely different from what we were told on the phone. Still not happy with your service.

    As our sales manager explained to you, the flooring you purchased is a quality North American product. We have sold well over half a million square feet of this flooring without any issue or complaints. The tongue and groove is one of the most reliable and consistent on the market. You selected a grade from this manufacturer that is value priced solely because of the existence of more knots in the wood itself. In all other facets, the flooring is equal to the more expensive grades. If a customer does not want his floor to have knots, it is then up to his installer to take the minor extra time to cut out the knots from each individual piece. Professional, qualified installers recognize this and do the job properly. Your installer however did not want to do this and instead filled your head with false claims about quality and workmanship. Thus, the only real issue here is with the poor attitude of your installer. You should be very happy about buying a great floor at a very low price.

    Almost 1,000 square feet of engineered hardwood flooring with baseboards and trim

    First off, ask every question you can think of because they will not volunteer information that you should know and get everything in writing before you make a deal with this company. We were told during the sales process that we did not have to condition the hardwood, that they would deliver it saving us over $200, that we could return any full boxes left over and that the baseboards would be real wood not MDF. John even called MDF junk. The installers were good but the whole process was stressful and frustrating. I don't know about you but I prefer upfront, honest deals. I would much rather be told the real situation even if it isn't what I want. Then you can deal with it. But this is a sales procees where that is all that matters. We paid for half the order at the time of ordering it. When we went back to pay the rest is when we got hit with the real situation. We were told that the hardwood had to be conditioned for at least 2 days, that they could only deliver it on the day of installation which would not work. So we had to rent a truck and deliver 34 boxes to the 5th floor of our condo ourselves. We were renovating, downsizing and preparing to move all at once. We didn't need this extra work or have the time for it. I expalined this and pointed out their promise but they didn't care. They went on like it wasn't a big deal but believe me it was a very big deal for us. Then the baseboards arrive and they are MDF. Then after the job was completed I went to return an extra box of hardwood to be told they were out of stock of this product and that we purchased the wood more than 30 days ago. Even though the installation happened less than 2 weeks prior they said that didn't matter. So the bottom line is, they will tell you whatever you want to hear during the sales process, not tell you things you need to know such as only having 30 days from the purchase date to return the wood, and then you will have to deal with the way things really are. As I say at the start of this review, think about everything that matters about your project, write the questions down beforehand, ask them the questions and then get their answers in writing to hold them to what they say or good luck to you. You have been forewarned. I would not recommend nor use this them again.

    Hardwood replacing carpet

    I had a wonderful experience at Brampton Hardwood. I was replacing upstairs carpet with wood and received excellent service from Jon. He was informative and I never felt rushed or pushed. Ended up with the best product and service for a very good price! I am very happy with the installation as well. Superb all around! I have already reccommended them and had someone purchase flooring for their home from that reccomendation.

    Hand scrapped hickory hardwood

    I am very happy from the customer service received from all the staff at Brampton show room specially John Nika & Vandana Gupta, very honest in presenting different kinds of hardwoods , the prices was very good compaired with other retailers, looks very nice , We install the whole 2nd floor 5 rooms and hallway 1500 sq. ft. in total. they recommend the installers who did great job, very pleased with the service.

    Maple Silver Cherry

    Very happy with the hardwood. Redid the whole house, and it really changed everything in the home. Excellent job, prices, and service. Very professional installation. Would definitely come back when ready to do the basement.

    New Hardwood Flooring

    I was recommended by a contractor recently to check out Brampton Flooring on Caledonia for a project I was working on. There are so many hardwood outlets..., but I thought I would give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by Brampton's choice, pricing, and quality. I walked in and was greeted warmly by Lina Pose, the showroom manager. Lina let me browse the showroom, at the same time, giving me the 'heads up' on any sample I lingered on. She was patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. It isn't very often these days that you have a person in sales give it 'their all'. I left with a few ideas, and probably called a few times more than I should have, asking her advise. She never got annoyed. She never gave up on me!! She knew it was an important purchase for me. She really helped me with my decision. It really wasn't worth doing the 'comparison shop'...I felt she was fair and honest. And, to top it all off, she even called me on 'HER' time to make sure everything went smoothly. Who could ask for more. I would recommend Brampton's products and more importantly help from someone who really seems to care. Yay!!

    Hardwood Floors

    We are very happy with the level of customer service received from Lina Pose (Caledonia location) at Brampton Hardwood Floors. She . showed extreme patience with us, She was always polite, professional and very helpful, even offering tips on how to make our renovation go smoother . We were very impressed with her knowdledge, service and assistance to details. She followed up after the sale as well. We will be buying from Brampton Flooring at the Caledonia location again and refer our family and friends..

    Natural Oak

    First time shopping here. Impressed with prices, staff and showroom. Installed main floor myself (with considerable help from the kids) and it turned out fabulous. Returned the leftover 4 boxes and paid the restocking fee without issue.

    Maple Sante Fe

    I am a repeat customer and other members of my family also shop at Brampton Hardwood. We shopped around a bit with local stores but ended up back at Brampton Hardwood to buy the hardwood for our kitchen remodel project. The salesman Johnny was excellent and we would gladly return.
