Capps showed up just in time and did their job with minimal disturbance and extreme courtesy. On the spot I asked them to also check my dryer vent, which they did at no chrage because there was no corrective action. They also confirmed that I have no asbestos in the vents lining, another extra. Thanks!

My family and I recently moved into an older home in downtown Toronto. Although the home had significant upgrades done, it appears that no ever considered cleaning the duct work! Within the first week in our new home everyone began experiencing numerous allergic reactions and started getting sick. I examined the floor registers and thick mossy looking blanket of dust and dirt coated the insides! I'm so pleased that I contacted Capps Duct Cleaning Services Inc and booked an appointment with the owner Paul. He came out to do the work himself and was courteous, professional and knowledgeble. The price was completely reasonable (and less expensive than utility companies - that farm out contracts). The service was thorough without any nickel and diming for add ons. The amount quoted over the phone automatically included furnace cleaning as well as disinfection. Paul also offered excellent advice to help prolong the results of the work completed. I called Capp's to clean my ducts after a recent renovation. I read the reviews on this site and I now see why Capp's is rated Number 1. Paul was great from the moment he arrived, was very helpful in explaining everything and did a fantastic job cleaning the ducts, furnace and the dryer vent. I was definitely impressed from start to finish.

They showed up when they were supposed to, completed the job in the pre-stated time, and were very friendly. The most impressive part of their service was how they came back to address a problem which was not even related to their visit. By coincidence, we experienced some furnace issues a day after Capps' visit. When I called them back, they returned immediately (from the other side of the city) to see what they could do to help. As it turns out, it wasn't even related to the duct cleaning, yet they were more than happy to return and ensure that we were well taken care of and that it wasn't anything they did. Like I said, it turned out to be a furnace issue which was related to a faulty part and a total coincidence. Returning to the job site to basically spend double the time with us (after hours and from across town) tells me that these guys are completely dedicated to their profession. All this was done with a smile on Rob's face...even though I had essentially wasted a bunch of his time for an unrelated problem! Thanks Capps, and sorry for the run around!

Paul [last named removed -- Ed] came out to my house and did a great job last night. I had done a reno on my place a few yrs ago but the original part of the house may have never been cleaned. 1950's Now I was told by more than one company that they hook a vacuum up to the furnace and suck out all of the dirt as it comes down as they blow air down the pipes. Capps takes a different approach they clear the lines out first before even hitting the furnace area. Paul took the time to explain with all of the turns and change in direction of the pipes it would be impossible to pressurize the entire system to "suck it all down-wards" so they start and work back-wards for a better cleaning, it takes them longer but they do it right. Paul took the time to setup and explain every step as he went along he started at the top floor and worked his way through the rooms with the air snake and vacuum tube the tube has to be about 8-10 inches wide, the snake goes through the vents and blows compressed air back-wards toward the vacuum, i could hear the stuff going through the tube to the truck. My upstairs was fairly clean as it is the new part. when he got to the main floor and went to the large air return the stuff really started to come out, he said it looked mostly like drywall and wood shavings. He worked his way to the basement and did a bunch of cleaning at the furnace and the big stack that's attached to it. All in all they took just over 2 hrs and he also mentioned I should be fine for 4-5 yrs possibly longer. He sprayed a deodorizer and the house had a faint pine smell for a bit but it was gone by the time we went to bed. He came with one other employee and I couldn't believe how courteous he was the whole time even with his worker, please and thanks were most of the words they used. One would turn on the air and after each off and on they would thank each other. I would recommend Capps Duct Cleaning Services in a second to anyone that asked. They were not the cheapest but they did a great job and I think based on how other's explained their process his job was worth it. Thanks

CAPPS provided great service. From a call the day before confirming the agreed time to tidying up after they were finished - CAPPS does a great job. Andrew and Robert were friendly and helpful. I will be recommending them to friends and family.

We just moved into our first home and we quickly noticed that even though the furnace was on, no air was blowing out of the vents and the back of the house was freezing! I called a furnace company, and he suggested I try getting the ducts cleaned before he came out to quote for a repair. He recomended Capps, and told me to give them a call. So I did, and am I ever glad I did!! I spoke to Paul, he listened to the problems were were having, and said he'd be more than happy to come out. I told him I work all day, so he arranged to come after work to accomodate my schedule. He called me on the day of our appt to confirm his arrival time, and when I got home from work, he was already there waiting for me. Paul was so knowledgeable, and more than willing to show us how things work, explain what he was doing, and answer all our questions. We learned so much from him. He was more than respectful of our home (and our brand new carpet throughout) he took his shoes off and on as required, so he did not step one foot on our carpet with his shoes! This was much appreciated. Paul did a wonderful & professional job. It was a pleasure to have him in our home. After he completed the job, we went around to check out the vents- what a difference!! We actually had air flow! It was amazing to see the difference duct cleaning made! (and we no longer need to call in a repair man!) We want to send a huge thank you to Paul, and we reccomend Capps to everyone!!
