We had our backyard arbor collapse while we we were painting it. What a mess!! We found Cedar Coast on line. Nick Sheppard returned our call promptly and then met with us the following day. He was very professional and sounded very competent. We were so happy with the new arbor trellis that he built for us. It was all pre cut and then installed on site in just half a day! Thank you Nick.

After the recent storm blew down a few sections of fence, I approached Cedar Coast Fence because of the sterling reviews of Nick's work on this website. Nick was on holiday, but Chris Anderson proved to be a great replacement for him. He was prompt, skilled, organized and pleasant. Chris came the to do the estimate a day after I called (on a Sunday!), and the work was finished by Thursday. As the estimate was almost exactly what I thought the job should cost, I cancelled the visits by two other contractors. It is a wonderful feeling to find a reliable and reasonably priced company - who needs 3 estimates?

Nick previously did work for me at my old residence so he was the only person I considered for the job when I moved to my new place. As expected, he did not disappoint! The work was completed in a timely manner and within budget. Thanks Nick for the beautiful deck and fence.

Like many here, I contacted Nick about building a custom front gate with iron insert and sent him some photos. When I finally found the iron insert, he came by and told me what was possible. He drew a sketch on the spot. He was wonderful from the start, ordered the wood, and designed a gate that gets rave reviews from neighbours and folks passing by. He is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, and has great integrity. Because he's such a find in the area of gates and fences, you might want to book him in advance. He was worth the wait. We are absolutely thrilled with the high quality and amazing service and grateful to Nick for realizing our vision.

Nick Sheppard did a wonderful job on my fence and arbour. His work was of the highest quality as was the materials used. I had a climbing hydrangea attached to my old fence which I was very concerned about. Nick answered my many questions concerning the plant and was very careful when removing the hydrangea from the existing fence.He designed a beautiful arbour by hand for my plants. He was always very pleasant and it was obvious that he takes great pride in his work. Nick's quote was the lowest that I received but worth every penny. I am delighted with his work. Nick built us a large gazebo/ arbor in our back yard! We are in love with the quality and workmanship that was put into it! Nick has an incredible talent when it comes to working with wood! He has exceeded our expectations again! This is the 2nd big job we have had Nick do for us and we are considering hiring Nick again for another project we have in mind! You will not be disappointed with what he has to offer!

We had Nick build a new deck last summer and we were very happy with the final product. Nick is an awesome guy! He did a couple jobs for us, including a carport fence, and a back yard Gazebo. He is personable, punctual, gives an honest quote, and does FANTASTIC work. Nick's workmanship is top of the line. He does all his work by hand (no pre-fab), and uses top quality wood, hinges, and gear to make an exceptional presentation of any project he creates! Nick was wonderful to have around our home, played with our dog, engaged with our daughter, and was a pleasure to meet! I find myself trying to find excuses for more wood jobs for Nick to do, as his work is top of the line, and always exceeds our expecations! Not sure who to go with for a Cedar job... Call NICK. Nick impressed me from the day he came to give me a quote - very professional, thorough, and committed to quality. Not to mention a very competitive quote. The project went even better than I could have hoped. I have recommended him to many people already as he is a rare find. My deck gets compliments from all my neighbours, as does even my shed and fence. Every part of the project he built himself (rather than using pre-fabricated fence sections, or a kit shed, or for the stairs), as he knows he does a better job and uses better materials. He's always on time, sees one project through at a time, accepts nothing but the best from himself, and is just a good guy to have around at the house to chat with. I really can't say enough good things about Cedar Coast Fence!
