    Home inspection for new home purchase

    I hired Classic Home Inspections after reading its positive reviews on Homestars. Few minutes after I requested for a quote through Homestars, Brent from Classic Home Inspection followed up with a call and email. On our appointment day, he came early to take photos and inspected around the outside of house. Then he went through the inside in detail. He was able to find a leak in the basement coming from a wall behind the hotwater tank where it was difficult to spot. The leak was coming from behind the pink insulation. After the inspection, we sat down and went through the concerns for the house and Brent answered all our questions. He provided a report the next morning with lots of photos and summary of the home condition. Brent is an easy going and very nice guy. I would recommend him.

    Excellent inspection for a first time homebuyer

    From the start of my quest to buy my first home, I had a plan. Unfortunately, in real life, you get surprised by little things and new changes can seem scary. I bought a tiny 1 bedroom condo as I approached the end of university, and wanted to get a home inspection to feel at ease about buying the place. Brent tried to help me out by dropping his price, but I could not take him up on it if he was as good as his reviews were. Brent came right in and noticed water damage that was not mentioned by neither my agent nor theirs. Unfortunately, I had no clause on home inspection (first timer), but looking through the various imperfections of the home, I was relieved to find that it was not as bad as it seemed. He put my mind at ease and was consistently available by phone in the days following the inspection. Please look no further. It is difficult to find good and honest people, and Brent is definitely one of the few. Call him today and you will not regret it in the slightest.

    Home Inspection

    Home Inspection

    After finding out that there were some damages to the house we agreed to purchase, we had to quickly find a very good inspector who could help assess the seriousness of the damage (+ more) asap. After checking out many inspector’s reviews on Homestars, as I usually do, as well as many of Brent’s 680+ reviews from his happy customers + several TV programs he was featured in for home inspections and his advices for homeowners, I’ve decided to contact him (the only inspector I’ve contacted) to inquire him of the home inspection. I have to say, from the moment I talked to him on the phone to schedule an appointment with him, he was very friendly, courteous, professional, and accommodative. On the date of his inspection, he’s come to the house on time (about an hour distance from where he is), performed more than 2 hours of very thorough inspection of the house, and provided all the things/advices we’d need to be aware of about the damages and others around the house. While it hurts to find out from his inspection that the damage is more serious than we thought, we were certainly appreciative with Brent’s honest opinions of the damages from his expertise/professionalism/15+ years of experience and easy-to-approach personality. Furthermore, he even provided a very detailed inspection report with almost 120 pictures on the date he inspected house, not to mention his rate (especially him being one of the best in the industry, in my opinion) was definitely very reasonable. Needless to say, if I will ever require another inspection in the future, I will certainly not hesitate at all to contact Brent, and will also recommend him to anyone who will need a very reliable, professional inspector. Thank you very much again for everything, Brent!

    Home Inspection

    Brent was able to accommodate my request for a home inspection on short notice, literally the next evening (worked within our availability). Brent was extremely thorough in his inspection and his expertise, knowledge, and experience is clearly evident. Brent was helpful in providing solutions to potential problems or issues that may arise. I would strongly recommend Brent to anyone looking for a home inspector. I received the report and pictures of the next morning as promised. Thanks for everything Brent!

    Home Inspection

    Have known Brent for many years as I've moved around the city. Called him for another inspection on my recent purchase and he was there the next day with a complete top to bottom inspection that helped me with my purchase, and understanding what I need to do/fix right away as opposed to what could wait. In the era of no condition buying, I'd recommend getting a home inspector anyways to give yourself peace of mind, and Brent can help you with that. Thanks!

Yes, as exciting as a time as it is right now for homebuyers, it's also probably the most dangerous.     Pre-purchase house inspection

    I can't imagine having a better experience. Brent was careful, patient, and thorough. He was happy to share his knowledge with me and seemed genuinely interested in making sure I understood how the house works and what maintenance was needed and when. I received a full, detailed report on the inspection and a set of photos showing all the findings. I was able to make a confident house purchase. I'm really grateful that Brent was part of my home-buying journey. He certainly made it easier and more successful.

    Home Inspection

    Brent was professional, thorough and courteous. He took me through the house and went over his inspection with me. He pointed out things that need repairing/replacing and a leaking pipe. I would recommend him and use him again in a heartbeat.

    Home Inspection

    Brent inspected a home we were considering to buy. I was able to schedule an appointment with very short notice. He is very thorough and knowledgeable home inspector. We decided to buy the house and were able to make better negotiations after Brent's final report!
