    Home Inspection

    When I was selling my house, the buyer hired Brent, who discovered some electrical issues which we were not aware of at all. I had to lower the price because of that issue. I 'hated' Brent so much because he made me lose $$$. A few days ago, it was my turn to buy a new house. When the time came for hiring an inspector, without any hesitation I decided to give the job to Brent. Others have said tons of good words. Just one thing I would still want to bring up. I have worked with 4 inspectors in the past, none of them were willing to squeeze themself into narrow spaces, where problems were often overlooked. Brent tried hard to put himeself into corners I would not even want to be and indeed discovered some issues. Highly recommended!

    HOME INSPECTION

    Brent was great! He is very knowledgeable and friendly. He toured the house paying close attention to small details while providing his recommendations and suggestions. I could not ask for a better home inspector! Thank you Brent for the great home inspection!

    home inspection

    Brent was everything the other reviews said and more. He was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, professional and thorough. He helped us save a lot of money on the price of the house. He was truly well worth his fee. We're very happy we made the right choice to have hired him.

    New home from top rated builder turned out with major issues…

    Just purchased our new home from a top builder which has one of the best reputations in the market and never thought that they could have missed something... I asked my neighbors who had their closing date earlier than our if they had experienced any issues, all of them where quite happy and indicated that they didn’t bother their self with a home inspector and even the 30 day warranty form. They had some minor paint, scratches and caulking issues which were immediately addressed by the builder. I didn’t want to take a chance and decided to hire Brent. Brent came full equipped. He took his time inside and outside. Spotted loose shingles, unsealed windows, unsealed piping, a leak in a very hidden corner in the basement and here comes the worse part… more than 10 spots approx 2” x 2” diameter mould buried inside the insulation and covered either by coincident or purposely with the overlapping plastic and sealant tape. So I was right again… Hire a professional, let them do their job. Thank you Brent!

As I had told you at the inspection, it does not matter the homebuilder, I don't even care if it is a multi-million dollar custom built home, they are all guilty of questionable building practices and not meeting code. I have heard every excuse in the book from homebuilders. Wait until you show them the mold. They will love to see that.     Home Inspection

    We just moved from a home built in 2000 into a home that was built in the early 1970s and we wanted a thorough inspection of our home for peace of mind. Looking through HomeStars, my wife and I decided to hire Brent based on all the great reviews. We were not disappointed. Not only did he give us a thorough inspection of our home but he also gave us a lot of advice and tips on how to take care of our home and the larger property since we just took a lot of things for granted in our previous home. He spent over 3 hours going through everything in our home, inside and out and even found mould in our attic. Brent was very friendly and took the time to answer any and all of our questions, even afterwards via email when we had questions. I would not hesitate in recommending Brent to anyone looking to find out and assess the state of the home they are living in. Thank you Brent!

    Home Inspection

    Brent was a pleasure to meet and work with! When I met him at the home he was already outside around the house inspecting. He dove right into it and let me know everything I needed to know aswell as how to possibly correct it. Brent took tons of pictures of everything. Even from on top of the roof. My real estate agent was with me and he was also very impressed by Brent. He said most inspectors inspect the roof with binoculors. Brent had no reservations about going up there and walking about getting a good look at everything. He gave me tons of valuable information in regards to things I wouldn't know how to operate and maintain otherwise such as the furnace, humidifier, gas fireplace etc etc. There were several issues with the home. Luckily, none of them major, but it was extremely reassuring to know exactly what I was getting myself into with this large purchase. Brent did save me alot of money. His rate is extremely reasonable. He is very personable and very willing to answer questions thoroughly and was always encouraging questions at every step as we went through the process. I am very glad I came across Homestars and found Brent. I am extremely happy with my decision to go with him and would recommend him to everyone. He takes his job very seriously and he is a true professional. I received a full binder with all of the pertinent details of the home and the home inspection and I was emailed all the pictures to review. Thanks Brent!

What you realtor should have told you is that most home inspectors are lazy. I only say this because it is true. On an ongoing basis, when I am doing home inspections for people, they are surprised by certain things that I do. They tell me "our other inspector never did that". I look at them with a puzzled look and say "really?" Oh well, guess they won't be in business long. Anyways, a great Markham home you chose!     Home inspection

    We were recommended Brent by our realtor, Patrick Walsh. We were really happy with Brent's work and helpful tips which went beyond the scope of his job. He is reliable, trustworthy and personable - do not hesitate to use Classic Home Inspections Inc - you will not be disappointed.

    Residential Home Inspection

    I hired Classic Home Inspections on short notice based on the reviews from this site and Brent lived up to all the good reviews. As a first time home buyer with limited knowledge of all the various issues a home can have, Brent was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and understanding. He was very thorough and took the time to explain everything, including general maintenance that wasn't part of the report. He emailed me the pictures he took the same day.     Home inspection

    Brent is amazing and have exceeded my expectations. I arrived early at the home and already found Brent walking around and checking outside. He conducted a very thorough inspection of inside and out. Later on he emailed me pictures that he took. I would def recommend him to my family and friends.

    Home inspection

    Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a person who will research a pending purchase thoroughly, and then some, before making a final decision. Most times it's not that I want the best deal, it's that I just want the best! I found HomeStars, online, about a year ago, around the time when my wife and I started our first home search. I kept this site in my favourites folder, knowing it would be a very valuable resource many times over down the road, because actual customers were rating the contractors. It's always said getting the opinion of former and current customers is the best way to find a reliable contractor. When we finally found a home that fit just about all our criteria, and were ready to put in an offer, our R/E agent recommended a pre-offer home inspection so we could go in without any conditions to booster our offer. She asked if I had someone in mind, or wanted her to tap into her sources. I immediately thought of HomeStars and started my search for the best rated, most highly reviewed & recommended appraiser. Believe me, I read many, many of the reviews Brent got from other clients and was truly impressed. That being said, of course, his reputation preceding him, I had little doubt I would be in good hands, if only for the fact this professional appraiser had his, and his company's good name and reputation to protect. When I arrived on site, Brent was already there, early, ready to get to work.Thumbs up! He is very down to earth, someone easy to talk to and ask questions of. If you have to equate him to someone on TV, think Mike Holmes - customer first, professional, and VERY thorough. He explained what was in need of immediate attention, what was not, what was new, what wasn't. Of the issues, the most important/costly he found, was that the roof would likely need replacing in 6-7 years, thus was something to keep an eye on as we got closer to these years. He gave us tips on maintaining areas of the home. Overall, he gave the home a clean bill of health. Brent provided us a binder with a full and complete report. Each section was labeled to make it easy to find and understand. He later emailed us a folder of pictures he took during his inspection, which included many of the exterior, roof, interior, basement, tight spaces, etc., supporting his findings - fantastic work. Thank you for this. It's amazing the things you don't think of until after a good inspector brings it to your attention. Today, our offer was accepted!! YES! My wife, son, and I are very excited! We got the house at the price we wanted, and because of Brent's work for us, and with us, we feel secure, knowing the property is totally worth every penny we're paying. Brent, thank you for just being professional and taking pride in your work, for being courteous, and honest. Too many of us in our everyday work sometimes take these things for granted, but you didn't - and I benefited from it! You have a client here for as long as you're in the business. Vic
