Thank you for the feedback Nhan!!! It is much appreciated! You know Nhan, I just came back from a inspection of a roof. Another home inspector told the potential buyers that the roof was "shot", and that it required replacment immediately. The current homebuyers called me in to take a look at it to verify this information. When I went up onto the roof, I had no idea where this other inspector was seeing. The roof was perfectly fine, and probably had another 8-10 years left on it, easy. When I came down I asked the current home owner (the one who wanted me to verify this) who the inspector was. He told me. I was floored. I would not have expected a inspector of this calibre to be telling people this just to knock down the price of a home. That's all he was doing. So the whole point of me telling this little story is maybe this it's a persons "conscience" that determines what type of an inspection you will get. I actually don't veiw myself as some kind of a "guru" or "know-it-all", but maybe I care a little more about my job than others do. When I am done a inspection, sometimes I have good things to say, and other times I don't. However, it is my honest opinion of the home that I think people want to hear at the end. PS, I carry a total of 60 feet in ladders in that trunk! Thanks again Nhan, and thank you for choosing Classic Home Inspections!
