Project: replace original 22-yr. old high-efficiency furnace with Goodman 70,000 BTU model. Original furnace had a rusting heat exchanger and the blower sounded like two drunk hampsters playing symbals on their exercise wheel. Project started at 10:00 a.m. and finished at approx. 4:00 p.m. Everything went well...the guys did a nice thorough installation...Kam was very good at explaining the humidifier maintenance as well as showing the internals of the Goodman furnace...a very nicely built unit. For someone like myself working in a technical job, a picture of the internals would almost sell me on the unit. The furnace is so quiet to me it seems like the blower in it isn't even running. A very nice change to the old beast we had before. The house definitely feels warmer - we can probably reduce the temp. by 1-2 degrees. Also, Kam had mentioned that the original furnace/plenum for outbound air had (4) holes in the side with varying sizes smaller/larger than a $2 coin, which explained why the house wasn't heated very well and furnace room so warm. In addition, he commented how dirty the bottom of the old furnace was, even though we had yearly maintenance from another company who had the higher price (by $1600) for installation of the same new furnace and humidifier. Q: Why is the other company charging $125 annual maintenance and didn't find the holes or clean the original furnace properly? A: They are more concerned about a steady revenue stream with their maintenance program, which was ineffective. Kam was also quite helpful at explaining the need to keep the furnace room free of dust around the furnace base as well as the hot water heater sensor at the base of the hot water tank. These are many things the home owner should know, which doesn't seem to be common knowledge among anyone I've spoken with prior to dealing with your company. Great service and prompt follow-up the next day for the OPA rebate.

Unlike other furnace installers, of which I called 4, Boris gave me a firm quote, which also happened to be the best. He did not give me a low number with possible additions on the side like other places. He told me exactly what I needed, including extra lengths of pipe based on where the venting would have to be, and figured out the full cost and that is exactly down to the penny what I paid. There were no surprises on the price anywhere in the process. I don't usually look for only the best (read lowest) price, especially when there is a big difference between the quotes, but Boris was so thorough and knowledgeable that the others did not measure up. Add to that the great website (www.cozyworld.ca) and it was a no brainer to choose Boris and Cozy World. Kam and his group showed up for the installation on time, and completed the job in 1 day as promised. As others have mentioned, they left the house as clean as when they arrived, and were nothing but professional during the entire installation process. They obviously take pride in their work and it shows. They were friendly, workmanlike and tidy. Boris and his team are professional, polite and friendly. What more could you ask for? In an age where home services usually leave much to be desired (shoddy work, no caring, no pride of workmanship, never showing up on time etc) Cozy World was an absolute treat to deal with from start to finish. I wish Boris was in the home reno business too - he'd get all my work.

I did not like how they initially set up the slab base for the air conditioner as it looked unfinished. We discussed it, and they returned to fix it. No hassle. Their installation of the furnace gave us a neater appearance than other installers were suggesting. All work done on time and the site was cleaned up afterward.

Boris provides the facts, gives you straight talk, common sense, no hard sell; he is down to earth, lets you decide and definitely walks the talk. His installation team were clean, hard working, and cared about the details. Definitely referable.

Boris and his crew were excellent. Knowledgeable, kind and patience. Did the job in one day, on time, and left everything the same way it was when they arrived. Even though I have my furnace replaced end of September, I wanted to wait till December to make a proper comparison regarding furnace usage. Gas bill December 2008: $250. Gas Bill December 2009: $82. I'd highly recommend Boris to anybody.

Boris, the owner provided a no pressure quote and even suggested that we purchase our own waterheater at Home Depot. Price was very competitive and installation were done with care. Protective cloths were used for all walkways and all garbage was taken away. We had our home done and our neighbour did the same.

I have had many workers come to my house with the attitude that their job is just to do the work and they lack all customer service skills. That was not the case with the installers who came to my home. They were congenial and tidy. Boris and his team are professional, polite and friendly.

After having 5 quotes on a new furnace installation we decided to go with COZY WORLD. They were the 2nd best price but I found them to be by far THE BEST customer service & the most knowledgable. BORIS was very kowledgable and spent time explaining everything to me and after having had four other quotes I felt he was the man who knew what he was doing. I was told many different things by the people who did the other estimates and only Boris seemed to get the right information. I had a feeling about this and this feeling was confirmed when I called our home inspector and he gave me the same information that Boris had given me (my questions were around proper venitlation in the room). The price he gave us on the new chimney liner which was needed for the new code requirements was also half the price I had been quoted by the other insatllers. Boris and his installers treated us with respect & patience through the entire process and have been quick to respond to any inquires we have had since the installation. I received the rebate forms immediately after installation from Boris. We have been extremely satisfied with this experience.
