After reading the great reviews on Homestars, we contacted Brian from Cummins Restorations. It was great that he responded right away and made an appointment for the next day to quote. He was punctual, seemed like he knew what he was talking about, and very easy to deal with so we hired him. Two weeks later as promised he arrived with his assistant and started work. They were both fantastic to deal with!! I could not believe how quick they worked and the quality was amazing!! There was no mess, and when Brian finished, the following day, the brick work looked new again! We would highly recommend Brian to anyone needing brick work done. He is such a wonderful person and really takes pride in his work! Thanks Brian!!!!!!

Brian and David did a very thorough job and matched the mortar colour very well. Their quote was very reasonable considering the scope of work required. Overall I am very satisfied with the job completed and will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for brick work.

We were extremely pleased with the work done by Cummins Restorations Inc. On the outside, Brian replaced some window sills, bricks and tuckpointed where neccessary. He took care to match the colors and the styles. On the inside, he restored three walls of old exposed brickwork. We were so impressed because he took such good care to match the colors and textures between the antique bricks. The finished product is truly impressive. He was punctual and cleaned up daily. In addition, he was courteous and showed integrity in his work and fulfillment of his contract. I recommend him highly for his excellent work and for all the above reasons.

Brian was amazing. He knew we were in a rush, and he did an excellent job, on a rush basis for us. I am so glad that we decided to use Brian to complete this job. He did excellent work, and he also was very neat and tidy (which I always appreciate!! I would definately recommend Brian to others for any cement work that they need to have completed!

The stone work on the foundation of my house had cracked and was missing some tuck pointing. Brian cleaned out the cracks, removed old caulking from a badly done patch and repointed where required. I was very impressed with the quality of work. Brian matched the existing colour of mortar and finished the job very quickly. Best of all, none of my garden was damaged in the process. Excellent work.

I called Brain and he was able to come the next day and gave me a quote on some replacement brick work on my deteriorating brick stair wall. He was very professional and took his time. He even did some touch ups on my house as well with the extra mortar. My wall looks like it was never coming apart in the first place. I chose Cummins Restorations because of their knowledge and professionalism when explaining what was necessary to repair our house. Our neighbour also used Cummins, and were happy, which made Cummins the ideal company to choose. It is nice to find a family run business, who takes pride in the work they perform. David did an excellent job of matching the brick and morter. Clean up was also excellent.

Cummins Restorations did a very good job. They did the brick work in the back of my house. I am going to have them do some more work for me in the future. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

Overall I'm very happy with the results. I was hoping that the chimney could be repaired, and you managed that. The tuck-pointed porch columns look good! Another company wanted to simply parge the first few courses. The bricks over the window are now set properly, and the previous company I hired to tuck-point didn't even touch them.
