Our patio was two inches above the top of the basement wall and was sloping towards the house, causing water to enter the basement. I found Curbz on this website and gave them a call. Ian got back to me right away and was quick to get a crew on the job. His crew were in and out very short period of time and with a minimum of interruption -- and they were all very pleasant, polite and hard-working. Ian's crew excavated the whole area, including removing a surprise block of concrete (at no extra charge), and then did a fantastic job properly grading the area so that the water drains away from our house. Although our goal was only functional -- to keep water out -- Ian's suggestions for stonework and other borders meant that we ended up with a patio that was ALSO very beautiful. Overall, I am a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend Curbz.

Having been turned away from another large company for not having a budget that was considered worthy of their time I was apprehensive when I skimmed through the beautiful Curbz website and almost didn't even call. But when I spoke with Ian and asked for an estimate I was pleasantly surprised with his great response. An appointment was made and he spent 45 minutes conducting an in person estimate. He made wonderful suggestions regarding stone work and never once tried to upsell us like the other companies did. He made us feel very comfortable with the money we were prepared to spend and was honest regarding his opinions and making sure we got what we wanted. The crew was extremely professional, reliable and couteous and the project was completed within the timeline promised. Clean up was thorough and the final project was gorgeous! We love our new walkway and have recieved a steady flow of compliments from friends and neighbours. We would absolutely recommend Curbz to anyone considering having work done to thier home.

Ian and his team accomplished exactly the overall look we were going for in spite of our very vague ideas. The Stonelink walkway and porch look fantastic and the garden has a great mix of low maintenance but appealing plants, all suggested by Curbz. It's a very pleasing transformation to the front of our home. Both planning and implementation went very smoothly and we highly recommend them.

Needed the following: 1. front walkway- curb to front stairs 2. side walkway to backyard 3. removal of everything in the backyard including re-grading the ground 4. sod 5. stone patio with seating wall I needed the work done early in the season so I can enjoy my backyard this asap. Ian provided a quote and committed to an Apr timeline. He was right on time as promised, his crew is courteous and ensured minimal disruption, and most importantly the end results were stunning. This stonelink product is very modern looking- and in my neighborhood its unique. Receive a lot of compliments on the work that Curbz had done for my house. Will have them back to stone the stairs. I called Curbz in to complete our driveway after having to fire [competitor name removed--Ed] who ran away with over $10,000 of our money after failing to come through for us on the job they had been paid for. We were left stranded with no driveway just a demolished one. Curbz are experienced with the Stonelink product which isn't the easiest stone to work with and their team came in and saved the day. Not only that they completed the job in three days! AMAZING. Thanks to Curbz there was a happy ending to a horrific experience with a contractor that got in over their head. The finished product is fantastic and we are very pleased. There has been some movement in the stones and the gaps between the stones are a little larger than we in initially hoped but I can understand why it had to be done that way. I'm sure Curbz will correct any movement in the stones anyway so I'm not worried. Great team to work and Curbz showed complete pride and amazing work ethics. I will use them again without hesitation!

Ian and his team are very knowledgeable and super to work with. They did an outstanding job ....we are very pleased with the results! My new walkway and garden exceeded my expectations. They are very professional, work hard and offered many ideas/solutions. They even generously dug out all the old stone around my front tree and spruced it up! I would definitely recommend Curbz. Ian was great to work with. We completed the project this past summer, which included replacing a rotten pressure treated retaining wall with new cedar, and an interlocking tile walkway with stone-link. The end result really was a transformation. Ian was great about working within our budget, and made recommendations on where we could save. He also pulled our design vision together, because we were a little unsure on how to accomplish it. Would definitely work with again!

Ian was amazing, he took the time to listen to our ideas and offered great suggestions at a reasonable price. He saw the project through beginning to end and always keep us informed. Ian is very professional and has lots of patience. The price is very reasonable and the job was done well. Honestly, this is not a simple backyard job. The project involved putting up a 100'+ long retaining wall to prevent water from flooding the church parking lot. Ian handled the job very well.

Good experience. Ian was responsive via email regarding coordination and planning, which makes it easier, since I'm on email much of the time. Some good suggestions for layout. Eric and crew were very good. Did a nice job and worked very hard. Went out of the way to make the finished product best as possible, and good clean-up and detailing. Highly recommend.
