We hired Curbz to design and landscape our backyard, including rebuilding a deck in cedar. Ian was quick to respond to our request for an estimate and was helpful and professional. The Curbz crew installed a lovely step up patio with beautiful stone and were quite brave when they uncovered a wasp nest beneath some rotting wood. Sylvie and Jude were both very helpful in their design ideas, and offered a number of options. The kids love their vegetable garden and our tall grasses in green and red are so serene. We look forward to enjoying our "new" backyard again after the snow melts!

This is the second project that we have worked with Curbz Landscaping Inc. Several years ago, Ian worked with us to design a space in our barren back yard and the transformation was fabulous so we decided to have him help us with our front yard. What draws us to working with Ian is not only his unlimited ideas but his ability to communicate every step of the way. He worked within our budget and when we made changes, as often happens as you go along, he always kept us informed of the cost. We liked the fact that once the crew starts the project they're 'yours' until the job is done and Ian can be reached at all times as decisions are made. His experience with different hardscape materials helped us with our decision making during the design phase and he was able to adjust the design as per the specs of the site thus keeping the design aesthetic. Although Curbz also provides garden/plant design, I chose to finish the planting myself partially to save on costs but also because I love to garden. Since the project has been completed we have had countless people drop by to compliment us on the project-it truly adds curb appeal and the workmanship is 'built' to last.

We would highly recommend Curbz and would certainly use them again. Jude, Ian and the whole Curbz team did a great job on our backyard renovation! Not only does the finished product look great, but the project came in on budget and ahead of schedule. Ian contributed some creative ideas that added some nice little details to our back yard (e.g., He noticed that the neighbours yard is at a higher grade than ours and suggested we put some stone edging along the fence to prevent water draining into our yard. He also noticed that the new layout for our patio furniture would mean that people sitting at one end of the table would be looking at the trash bins along the side of our house and so he suggested building a wooden screen to block out the eye sore). The Curbz team also noticed a piece of flagstone in the steps leading up to our garage was loose and re-fastened it for us -- this was not in the scope of the project, but was a nice little detail and was much appreciated. Overall, a fantastic job by Curbz!

Great job on our lawn with our grass, very satisfied. If thinking on Synthetic Grass try there product it looks real and easy to maintain. It looks great in winter when you have the only green lawn in town..

I was referred to Curbz by a friend and used HomeStars to validate our decision to work with them. They were immediately responsive to inquiries for estimates - unlike many other companies we contacted. One company came to our home, took measurements, but never called us back. Curbz was great, we had a very good feeling about them from the first time they came over. They were great to correspond with over email too. The work was done very quickly and the results exceeded our expectations. My husband and I didn't want anything fancy, just a level patio to eat on, with a nice clean feeling, not overrun with weeds. The limestone patio turned out beautifully! My pictures don't do it justice! We have lovely river stones in 2 areas that we didn't want to plant in. The guys who did the work were wonderful - super friendly, polite and they arrived at the crack of dawn each day! We look forward to seeing the backyard evolve as our plants mature.

We hired Curbz to totally redo our backyard (new deck, fences, patio stones, hot tub, pergola, artificial turf, etc.) after reading all the great reviews the company got on the Homestars' website and getting a glowing reference from a friend. We can't say enough good things about Ian and his crew. Ian always arrived for meetings with us exactly when he said he would. He and his designer made great suggestions and helped us tweak our original plan to make our yard even better than we hoped. His crew worked unbelievably hard and were very respectful of the fact we have young kids around. They always left the job site neat and tidy at the end of the day. They were wonderful in dealing with our neighbours, as well. Ian came by once or twice a day to make sure all was well with the project. The guys were all easygoing about any changes we wanted as the project progressed. I would not hesitate to recommend Ian and his Curbz staff to anyone.

Curbz Landscaping installed a patio, seat wall, walkway, fence and gate. Right from the design it was a trouble-free process. The crew was wonderful to work with – they answered all my questions, they showed up every day on time and worked very hard and never left till the job was done. The end product was a beautiful new look for both my back and front yards. I’m very happy with the work they did and I have recommended them to friends and neighbours. It was a fun experience and the crew is polite, respectful of property, knowledgeable, talented and professional. You won’t be disappointed.

I really liked the work Curbz did. It is clear they put thought into their work and left my garden looking fantastic. They returned calls and emails promptly and I found them reasonably priced for what they did. I will be hiring them back for yet another summer and would not think twice about recommending them.

We are thrilled with how Curbz transformed our back yard and front walkway while working within our budget. Ian made great recommendations on which stone to use, how to address the challenges of our yard and completed the work in ways that will allow for future landscaping when we are ready to tackle it. The crew was extremely professional, friendly and completed the job in less time than projected. The Curbz team did a great job of completing our retaining wall and parking pad project. We really appreciated the process of developing the 3D drawings with Ian and Sylvie, as it definitely generated lots of good discussion and ideas. With clear plans, we were able to focus on the finer details during the project. The team (thanks Dave) was courteous, hard-working, and happy to answer lots of questions. Our project involved many challenges due to the need to tie into pre-existing work, and Ian and Dave were great problem solvers, and never let a set-back defeat them. The work looks great and the Curbz team met their commitments at each step of the way. Thanks guys!
