To us, the ideal candidate for employment is one who comes to us with years of prior cleaning experience and verifiable references. Custom Maids was established in 1978 and, through the years, we have consistently maintained a cleaning and support staff of 50 to 100 people, and have cleaned more than 1 Million Toronto homes! We are proud to have introduced a high degree of professionalism into our industry, enabling us to keep our customers satisfied year after year. We have now set up a permanent customer file for you. This will ensure that our office staff can schedule your future cleaning visits quickly and efficiently each time you call. We will also endeavour to send the same cleaning person to your home each time you book an appointment. If, at any point, you should decide that a regular service would be more convenient for you, just let us know. Service on a regular basis may be once a week, once every 2 weeks, once every 3 weeks, once every 4 weeks, or even once every 8 weeks! Regular customers are assured that their cleaning person will be assigned to their home on an on-going basis, thus eliminating the need to call each time service is required. Dear CFW from Toronto, At CUSTOM MAIDS, we devote more time and effort to recruiting experienced cleaning personnel than we do any other aspect of our business. To us, the ideal candidate for employment is one who comes to us with years of prior cleaning experience and verifiable references. As a result, our staff is largely comprised of traditional cleaning ladies who have been in positions of trust for many years before joining our staff. Notwithstanding the prior qualifications they may have, all new recruits must complete a training program with the Company, involving classroom and practical components. Those who successfully complete the training are added to our staff. Once employed, our standards are maintained through an ongoing program of training and/or supervision. All staff members are bonded and covered by comprehensive liability insurance. As they are employees of CUSTOM MAIDS, the Company is wholly responsible for employees' Worker's Compensation coverage and payroll taxes. This having been stated, we are deeply distressed to learn that you believe that we do not conduct background checks on our employees, especially after using Custom Maids services since 2009. We are greatly concerned that your experience may damage our professional image. We would greatly appreciate another opportunity to demonstrate the standard of excellence and reliability our customers have come to expect from us over the past 36 years and realize that we must leave no margin for error the next time around. We will select a cleaning person for you - someone with a flawless record who has been on our staff for many, many years. Your suite key was promptly recovered when we realized it had in fact bounced off the floor and into a crevice after the cleaning lady put it through the mail slot in your suite door.
