    condo cleaning

    Our first experience was a disaster! Custom Maids representative Miranda left the apartment in a mess (didn't clean window sills, the desk, hardly dusted and had to had outstanding areas pointed out to here before she left). Found items on the checklist that were checked as done despite clearly avoided. To our surprise we have discovered damage after her departure that she attempted to mask and failed to acknowledge to date despite photographic and video evidence. The person provided by the company to assess the damage turned up with a camera with flat batteries and implied that our 1 year old daughter might have been responsible for the damage caused by improper use of our Dyson hoover. General manager not helpful and rude to us after alleged damage announced. Very unprofessional, wouldn't recommend nor use again.

    house cleaning

    I have used Custom Maids for about a year now. They generally do great work. I ask for Zolna whenever she is available - she is absolutely fantastic! She cleans very thoroughly, and her ability to tidy things into the exact places where you want them is sort of spooky - never a dish out of place in the kitchen.

    cleaning

    We've used them twice now and are really happy after a string of disappointing cleaning companies. I didn't want to go with a service where I had to provide the cleaning supplies, but it's worth it. The cleaning woman who's come twice now is very nice and does a wonderful job!

    Apartment Cleaning

    I have used Custom Maids many times and all the cleaners did a wonderful job! My only issue is that when I would request the same person again they always seemed to have left the company. Other than that they were friendly, accommodating and did a superb cleaning job and I have really high standards.

    Bi-weekly house cleaning

    Our initial visit showed that the work that needed doing could be done in four hours and we would be happy with the results. They bring a checklist every visit and mark off the completed work. Sometimes we'd leave a note explicitly asking for something else to be done or other tasks to be left off. Despite being told that we'd get the same cleaner every time, in fact it changed several times over the course of a year. Despite being told that the keys would be kept at the head office, it turns out they were signed out by the cleaners for up to a week at a time. We realize that any cleaner we hire will have our keys, but we don't appreciate being misled about their business practices. After that first visit, we were never fully satisfied with the quality of the cleaning, often seeing 'hotel effects' and no thorough cleaning anywhere. Often items were checked off on the checklist even though they were clearly not done. Even when we specifically asked for certain things to be done, sometimes they were not. The final straw was finding on several occasions evidence that they were coming for little more than three hours at a time, while being paid for four. When confronted over this, nothing changed.

    house cleaning

    custom maids has incredibly rude customer service personnel, and just the experience of contacting them was trying. they put me on hold a few times, then kept transferring me without warning. i would not call them again.

    Bi Weekly House Cleaning

    We used custom maids for a few years and they were excellent. They kept a key to our home in a secure place, sent staff that were well trained, were flexible with there scheduling, and had no billing problems. I would recommend them to others. The only thing was they were a little expensive versus going with an independant - that's the only downfall.

    house cleaning

    Hired for general cleaning (dust, vacuum, mop). Did a lot of surface cleaning and "hotel effects" (pillow, towel carpet arrangement) but didn't clean thoroughly. Did not clean bathtub, didn't dust shelves or desk, mopped half the floor, made the bed by pulling the covers up (ie sheets not tucked in), cleaned half the kitchen (didn't wipe down cupboards) and finished 15 minutes early. All these items were on their "checklist" and checked off as completed but were not done. Would not hire again.
