    Gas Furnace

    Our furnace stop working when the temperature outside was on the negative 20's. I called up a Aire One to check the furnace and the technician said that the heat exchanger was broken and has to be replaced. It can't be repaired and the best way is just to replace with a new one. I have a limited idea about Furnaces so I kind of panicked. We need to have the heat. Technician said that a sales guy will come within 45 min. He did come and gave me a quote of more than 3K but I wanted to get another quote just to compare. Luckily, I called Scott from Delta Air. I told him about the situation and that I need the quote right away. I called him at about 6:30pm and he was able to come at about 9pm that day. He sent me the quote as well later that night. I was so lucky that I was able to call Scott because he gave me a very valuable advise. HE TOLD ME TO GET A SECOND OPINION ON MY FURNACE. He noticed something wrong during his visit. I followed his advice and to my surprise, I can't believe why the guy from Aire One said that my furnace has to be replaced when there was nothing wrong on it. The only problem was just the Thermostat. I would like to thank Scott's honesty and advise to have a second opinion. I would have spent more than 3K and would have to sacrifice a lot of things for nothing. Thank you Scott for your help, I really appreciate it. I would highly recommend this company.

    Furnace Repair

    Delta installed a new furnace in 2011. The furnace failed Sunday evening and Delta came the following day Thank you to the staff at Delta for friendly, fast and efficient service. Prompt and Courteous .

    Furnace installation

    Out of the 5 BBB A+ rated places we called and received quotes for Delta had the service, variety of brands, and the best prices for the service. Scott explained the different types of furnaces and the benefits, as well as the importance of after installation servicing. Brian who installed the system was very patient with us and explained the various options with the installation so we had the least amount of holes in our walls. I would recommend them to anyone (Delta was also recommended to us as well).

    New ERV and Humidifier

    Delta installed a Van EE ERV and a Honeywell fan-assisted Humidifier last week. We had been experiencing extremely dry air in our new-build home. I did a google search for HVAC companies in the area and got quotes from 4 companies. Although Delta was not the cheapest, they were about the same price as their main competitor (Dunn). My main reason for choosing delta, other than the fair pricing, was all the positive reviews on homestars and references from many of my work colleagues who all gave great reviews. Scott P. did a great job discussing our options and was very polite and professional. We arranged for installation within a week of the quote. Shawn and Brian installed the units. Again, they were very polite and professional and took the time to explain what they were doing and provided good information about the system and how to control and maintain it. They did a great job. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the wiring, which caused our AC to turn on whenever the ERV was running. We noticed this error within a few days of the system operating. We followed up with Scott and he quickly responded and arranged for a visit to review the system. Paul came yesterday to inspect the situation and fix the problem. He quickly discovered the wiring issue. He was extremely professional and took the time to listen to my description of the issue, explain what he was doing, and let me know when he found the issue and the steps he would take to repair it. He even went above and beyond by also fixing a small furnace leak he noticed and also inspecting/cleaning some sensors on the furnace. Great work Paul! Both Paul and the initial installation team (Shawn and Brian) provided good overall advice on how to properly maintain and operate the overall HVAC system for best performance. I'm giving a review of 9 out of 10 because of the wiring issue, but I would definitely recommend Delta to friends/family and plan to contact them for annual maintenance and future needs.

    DX16SA - Daikin Single Stage Air Conditioner

    I purchased a Daikin Single Stage Air Conditioner from Delta Air Systems on September 2015. I was impressed by the services provided by everybody in this company, starting with the admin. team, with Mr. Semple in Sales Dept. who guided us to select the right product for us and continuing with the two technicians (Mr. Dale and Mr. Matt) who did an awesome, clean and professional job at my house. The product purchased is great, too, and the price was very affordable.

    Service

    Having used Delta in the past for service I automatically called them, as my furnace quit on the weekend. After explaining the problem I was told what part needed to be replaced and that it would be $180 as that was the hourly rate. I booked the service to replace the part, but when the technician arrived and diagnosed the problem (the same as had been discussed on the phone), was told that he didn't have the part and that I'd have to book a subsequent appointment. I was then billed the full $180 for a half an hours work (for cleaning, not replacing). As I found out later, there was a minimum $180 charge and I was to pay for travel time. Neither had been mentioned at time of booking. Now I was expected to pay an additional $90 plus parts to fix what was supposed to have been fixed initially. I've cancelled my second appointment and will look elsewhere from now on. Decided to give it another shot and contact the owner Calvin (the gentleman I originally spoke with on the phone who diagnosed the problem) and we resolved the issue. He was very pleasant and helpful and I will once again return to Delta next September for my furnace maintenance and sensor cleaning which he gave me a deal on. Delta has restored my faith.

    Furnace & Air Conditioner

    I purchased an ERV from Delta last year and most recently a Lennox SPL98 furnace and XC20 air conditioner. Scott Padfield was great in helping me select the right equipment for our needs. The space is very tight around the outside of our home but Dale Chambers and the team did an excellent job of working around the hurdles for a top-notch installation. Thank you to all at Delta for an excellent experience. If after this winter and summer the equipment solves the humidity issues we’ve had I will gladly come back and upgrade to 10 stars!

    Furnace and AC Install

    10 out of 10 for Delta Air Systems . This is my second posting as the first one vanished (?) . We were replacing a 27 year old forced air electric furnace without air conditioning . Scott P. came in to do the Sales pitch and after a very thorough inspection of our Home he provided a very impressive Quote . When the Team arrived to start the Install , so did Scott P.. We covered off a few areas that needed last minute clarifications and the boys got started . Matt , Darren and another Scott worked the first day with Darren and Matt putting in the second day . An enormous amount of varied , skilled work to complete this Install . Threading pipe , fitting sheet metal , running electrical , brazing pipe , drilling through concrete...the list goes on .I n the end , we're very happy . Scott P. returned to inspect the final job and has called on numerous occasions to "check in" with us . we have already recommended Delta Air systems to our friends . Thanks very much to this Team !     remove and replace water heater

    I contacted Scott from Delta on a Wednesday afternoon. He arrived on Thursday for an inspection and quote for the removal of our old water heater and the installation of our new one. The install team was scheduled shortly after the purchase of the new water heater. They arrived on time, did the job in less time than estimated, and removed the old water heater without being asked. I am very satisfied with the work that Scott and his team did.
