The technician, Francesco B. arrived within the specified time and completed the inspections of both the fireplace and the air conditioning, as booked. He cleaned both areas of work afterwards, and explained what he had done and what the status of each was.

We have a maintenance agreement for a yearly check and cleaning. Our system is 18 years old, thanks to yearly maintenance and replacement of some parts which were covered through our contract.

On my annual checkup, there was the remains of a mouse splattered in the unit and the outside wall. The technician Al was great. He thoroughly cleaned the site and ensured the unit was in tact. He was very personable and I was grateful for the cleanup. Al also made me aware of the current special on heating protection with maintainence and was going to adjust my billing. Therefore, I was very pleased.

Leo and Anthony provided a professional and quick service in installing the AC and the furnace. Excellent team work, clean and efficient. It took them one day and the system was installed Highly recommended.

We had Direct Energy install a new furnace which was a success. So when it came to whole house AC, I went with DirectEnergy/Enercare. The experience has been wholly negative. The install left me a mess to clean up for 3 hours and the compressor has not worked properly from the first day. The AC ON cycle sounds like a diesel truck starting up. The second season all the refrigerant had leaked out. I have had their service technicians come back every year and they tell me to purchase a more expensive - and quieter - unit even though my research (too little too late) shows I was overcharged by about $1000 for this brand of AC unit. Enercare bandaids the unit and then leaves and the compressor keeps on straining. I finally had to bring in an independent contractor I trust and will be replacing the compressor through him since the part is still under warranty.

Dear Enercare Home Services, Waseem was in my house today to do a/c maintenance and to repair my a/c. It took him minutes to diagnose the problem and not much time to repair my a/c. Also, knowing that my house is about 100 years old - Waseem recommended that I buy the Electrical Protection Plan. Until now, I didn't know that such a plan exists and it's a great way to get affordable access to an electrician for maintenance. Waseem is a gem! Best, Mimi
