    Excellent service

    I called to inquire about replacing an aged hot water tank. There was no problem with the tank but it was 18 years old. I called on December 28 and had a new tank ready to be installed on January 2. The person on the phone answered all my questions and was friendly. When the technicians arrived they did an inspection and told me they could not proceed due to an issue with the main water valve. I called Enercare at 6:30 the next morning and they arranged to have a pipe and plumbing technician take a look. I had purchased the Pipe and Plumbing Protection Plan and so the service call was free. I had the valveconnecting to the water tank replaced. That same afternoon the installers cane and installed my new tank. They were very careful to wear booties and placed a red carpet on the floors and stairway. It took about one hour. No mess, no hassles of any kind. Just courteous, efficient and professional service. I hope everyone reading this will have the same positive experience.

    No complete service

    I got code 10 (exhaust problem) on my Rinnai Tankless Water Heaters. Called enercare agent 2 times. Second time waited 40 minutes on phone to talk to an agent. There might be 5 possible problems for the exhaust but the technician only remove lightly built ice under the exhaust and said that it will be ok. He did not even bother to open the machine to check. And the same night the water heater broke again showing code 10. I called them next day but no agent picked up the phone to receive my complain, although enercare say that their service is 24/7. On my third call, I was able to talk to agent after waiting on phone for 1 hour.

    New furnace installed, stopped working

    Got a new furnaces installed, after a day stopped working. Got two babies, company can't even rush anyone. Regret this, will never recommend to anyone...waiting time is so long, and when you say yes to call back, never get one.

    Heating system fixing

    The Heating system in my rental property did not work before new year holidays and my tenants with 2 children were in terrible situation @ -20C, I called Enercare and their specialists fixed the problem in 3 hours with no extra cost because I have a heating protection plan with Enercare.

    Furnace Repair and Customer Service

    Terrible service and absolutely no problem solving on their end. I have been without heat for three weeks in this deep freeze despite having three technicians attempt to repair my furnace which is not old. I have called the company 8 times and spoken with agents who have disconnected my calls while I wait on hold for 15-20 minutes and they claim to be speaking to the 'planning team'. Despite the inability of the technicians to fix my furnace my call is still not considered a priority and I go to the end of the waiting of the list for a technician to visit. Each wait has been four days. Paying for the insurance plan has been a waste of money.

    Refrigerator water tube repair

    Dave arrived at my home and was professional, affable, and focused. He came prepared with all the parts required to fix the waterline to my refrigerator water dispenser and was very efficient! I appreciate his kindness and professionalism and I am so happy I have the Enercare insurance for my plumbing and furnace. It gives me peace of mind that I have professional help in taking care of my home when I need it.

    Enercare does not honour their promotions

    We entered a contract with enercare in late summer. At the time they were offered a $200 prepaid master card for new customers. We have called multiple times since November inquiring about the mastercard. They leave us on hold for hours, promise to call us back, claim that the issue is being escalated yet no one has returned a single phone call or email. Do not sign with the company expecting them to follow through on what they promise.

    Furnace Maintenance

    Staff was very professional and courteous on the phone. Technician knew what he was talking about and also did the work in efficient manner and respected our home and privacy.

    Yearly furnace maintenance

    I have a monthly fee which covers repairs to my furnace, if needed. This fee also gives me a full furnace inspection once per year at no additional cost. The booking time is arranged easily and I find the technicians to be on time, friendly and knowledgeable. I believe these yearly checks have given me peace of mind in knowing the furnace is ready for our cold Canadian winters.

    hot water heater

    the contractors this company employs is a bit sketchy, but if you deal with a representative from enercare itself, you'll be quite pleased. overall, a good company to deal with
