    Boiler Furnace Maintenance

Called Enercare for yearly boiler furnace maintenance on contract. At the time, the weather had become colder and when we tried to start furnace but it wouldn't go on. For maintenance the wait was over a week but when they heard the furnace wouldn't turn on they fit us in the day after our call for service and did the maintenance at the same time. Very efficient and accommodating.

    furnance and a/c

they call ahead before coming. Go step by step to show and tell you what they are doing. Finished in great timing. Put mats down to protect the flooring. Cleaned up after they were down. Demonstrated how to work both units .Asked if I had any questions. Left there card in case we have questions down the road.

Air return not installed for weeks, missed appointments

This is by far the worst customer service and company I have ever dealt with. To give you an idea of just how unprofessional this company and it’s representatives are, I had an appointment scheduled for a Saturday to install an air return, they call me Friday evening after setting all else aside for the following day to tell me they can’t come out anymore, no explanation and I could reschedule if I wanted. Rescheduled for the following week, again set the day aside, no one shows up. I call three times, the first operator tells me they’re still on their way, wait half an hour, I wait an hour, no one shows. I call back and another rep takes my information again and then hangs up on me. I have to call back again and go through the whole thing again and after being on hold for a long while, the rep tells me the technician has the flu and never showed up. I ask why no one called me, she says they did and I say I’ll text you a screen shot of my phone not a single attempted call. I ask for a manager and then I get hung up on again. Completely livid, I call back and speak to agent number four and ask to speak to a manager right away and to not dare hang up on me, she transfers me to a woman who can’t find a single record of service call requests (I have emails from Enercare confirming both missed Saturday appointments). She says she can’t do anything for me including compensate me for two Saturdays I set aside for this appointment, and I was welcome to go online and blast about it if I wanted to. This is the most disgraceful treatment I’ve endured for a company that rests its reputation on good customer service. Do not do business with Enercare because they will waste the only one of two days a week you have off two weeks in a row and won’t care at all about it. Try anyone else. If you have to pay a bit more, it’s worth not giving up your precious weekend (or two) due to their arrogant incompetence

    Furnace Service

Very professional, cautious and friendly. Provided very useful information and was helpful. Went far beyond and above expectation. Useful hints that will save money for sure. Took the job seriously.

    Furnace Maintainance

the technician (Sean) arrived promptly, He did a great job and made sure all was working to my satisfaction before he left. I would always want an Enercare technician in my home.

    New Furnace and Air

I've had the home maintenance plans for many years and each time, the tech said everything was fine...so I trusted the tech this time, when after 10 years he said my mid-efficiency furnace was on its last leg. Mizra Beg, the sales person then came to show me my options--I had no idea the options would be so affordable, and you get a rebate from the gov, and they're coming a few days later for the install. Mizra was so enjoyable, explained the pros/cons of each option, especially the no hidden costs guarantee!

    service contract

YEAR ESTABLISHED 50 NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES 1000 LIABILITY INSURANCE Yes WORKERS COMPENSATION Yes BONDED Yes WRITTEN CONTRACT Yes The above are listed on the EnercARE WEB SITE. Note the WRITTEN CONTRACT. This is a false information that the client has to be aware of. I am a senior (80 years) whoI wanted Enercare to look after my furnace, AC and fireplace in my home. After discussion Enercare read me a contract regarding this matter over the phone. I thought it was a reasonable contract to which I agreed to in principle but I wanted a written copy that I could read and sign if I agreed. Enercare told me that I did not have to get a written contract and all the Enercare contracts were verbal done over the phone and all the information recorded. I said I don't care how you want to do it. I want to do the contract in writing period. So I asked them to send me the contract by mail or email. We will have a contract only after I sign it on paper. To make a long story short the following month Enercare billed me through Energuide for this verbal contract $22/month for 2 years). I objected to Energuide . I told Energuide that verbal contracts are not the best way to do business. Good papers make good friends. Energuide corrected the billing accordingly. The following month Energuide billed me again for the arrear not paid plus the new month charge $22. I called Energuide and they agreed to corrected the billing which I paid. I asked Energuide why they had included in their billing an Enercare charge that they has agreed to cancel the previous month? They had no explanation. But they mentioned that although Energuide eliminated the Enercare charge, Enercare might pursue me with their own billing. I say Come on Enercare I am waiting for you!!! I wanted to make sure every one beware ofEnercare's bad contract practice and not accept it. I am also writing the Energuide Ombudsman about this contract malpractice.

    New boiler installation

Lenny and Frank were great! They were fast, neat and did a great job. It's unfortunate that this review is making me write a minimum of 30 words....I probably won't write a review again for any other service provider.
