    Duct cleaning Enercare

Just did a big renovation so wanted to make sure the furnace and ducts were cleaned after. Great service from booking to completion of the duct cleaning. I'd recommend highly.

    Annual maintenance

Our serviceman was there in timely fashion after he called to say he was on his way. He explained the job he was doing and how we can help ourselves to understand what is required to keep the Furnace area in good condition. Seems very knowledgeable and pleasant.

    No Hot water

David the plumber is really good. He should get a raise. I need to add another few words in order to post. David is nice, but some of the other technicians are not. It is hit or miss.

    hot water tank rental

A few months ago, I had my rental hot water tank replaced. A couple of months later, I received mail indicating Enercare screwed up the billing and I owed just under $200. After some lengthy phone calls, it appeared that Enercare did NOT cancel the original tank rental nor did the charge me for the new one. However, my bill still indicated the monthly charge. All this was just an internal billing issue but I was going to get screwed if I didn't call. Today, I call to find out if was was possible to buy the tank outright and no longer pay rent. I ended up being transferred to four different people. Each one put me through the wringer trying to find out who I was - name address phone number postal code. Had to repeat myself several times to each one. Why? I should only have to give the info once, it is entered in the call ticket and that should be it. Two people even said "I don't know why you were transferred to me". A simple question - how much would it cost to buy the water heater out instead of renting it. Could NOT get an answer. I finally hung up - incompetence plus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    HOT WATER TANK

NO HOT WATER, NO SENSE OF URGENY. LAZY TECHS We have had no hot water for THREE days and counting. #1 - they come over to install a new LARGER hot water tank by their recommendation. #2 - they cause physical damage to existing piping during their installation which caused a massive leak above the hot water rank. the leak was so bad we had to stop the hot water tank and the main water supply. #3 - they INSIST it was NOT their fault and try to make me pay for a plumber to come fix damage THEY CAUSED! #4 - i paid out of my pocket cause this was a sunday and needed it fixed ASAP; they finally send someone over again and they say they need a part and they don't have the part with them and so they need to wait till the next day for the part to come in (very common part, KEEP THEM ON HAND!!!!!). The tech ensured the part will be shipped to my home next day by 10AM (here goes another day) #5 - the part doesn't get to my place till 6pm, the tech comes in again; replaces the part, turns the tank on again and leaves. Does NO due diligence to ensure the tank STAYS LIT after having had water go into the wrong part of the tank (common sense?!). #6 - waiting AGAIN for another genius tech to show up at my place. WORST EVER SERVICE. WILL **NEVER*** RECOMMEND TO ANYWAY. Being shared all over social media.

Heating Protection Plan and new furnace quote

Enercare is an unethical company. We had 3 quotes for a new furnace and air conditioner, and the Enercare quote was twice as much as the other two quotes. On top of that, the equipment offered by Enercare was less energy efficient and lower quality. Additionally, we could not cancel our Enercare Heating Protection for 10 months (at $17.99 / month) because they said we were locked into an annual contract. Needless to say, we didn't need a heating protection plan if we had a brand new furnace. Enercare will happily charge for services on a monthly basis, but will not cancel on a monthly basis. This is unethical. Beware Enercare products and service plans, and if you need a new furnace be sure to get quotes.

    Hot water tank repair

Tank is a rental, so service included. Got a quick appointment with 1 call. Albert was incredibly good at fixing the problem, very helpful, and very polite/respectful. Totally satisfied with service.

Getting Ripped off by Enercare Home Protection Plan

I am getting billed for my home protection plan that I cancelled over 9 months ago. Enercare is charging me for a home service plan in a house I moved out of last July. AT that time I was told that they had looked after everything. Each time I call to complain I get no where. No one in this department can help me. Very bad customer service.

    Boiler service

I have a maintenance agreement so there were no charges for this service visit. service was same day and on schedule. Technician was polite and courteous. He promptly dealt with issue and pointed out other areas needing attention by a plumber. My system is a boiler with radiators.
