A few months ago, I had my rental hot water tank replaced. A couple of months later, I received mail indicating Enercare screwed up the billing and I owed just under $200. After some lengthy phone calls, it appeared that Enercare did NOT cancel the original tank rental nor did the charge me for the new one. However, my bill still indicated the monthly charge. All this was just an internal billing issue but I was going to get screwed if I didn't call.
Today, I call to find out if was was possible to buy the tank outright and no longer pay rent. I ended up being transferred to four different people. Each one put me through the wringer trying to find out who I was - name address phone number postal code. Had to repeat myself several times to each one. Why? I should only have to give the info once, it is entered in the call ticket and that should be it. Two people even said "I don't know why you were transferred to me".
A simple question - how much would it cost to buy the water heater out instead of renting it. Could NOT get an answer. I finally hung up - incompetence plus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
