    Plumbing Service

    Your representative, plumber Roland, was an absolute gentleman, asking no questions other than those pertaining to the work for which he had come, directing me how and where to act under his requests, and performing his tasks in a most wonderful and professional manner. He is a credit to Enercare.

    Water Heater Service

    The service person with here at my house in the time they recommend. He was very respondent to my problem and fixed it quickly. Plus he told me what could have caused the problem and was accurate in his observation.

    HVAC Service

    The service man was very polite and helpful. Although I had called for air conditioning problem he soon realized that I had an electrical problem and everything was fixed. .

    HVAC Installations

    The Direct Energy workmen did a great job when they were installing my furnace and my air conditioner and the workers were also very friendly and efficient. Thanks again . .

    Repair and Termination

    Positive and Negative. 1. Furnace Repair: Telephone person polite, a nice young technician came out quickly, was very polite but misdiagnosed problem -- said it was air-conditioning problem (another company). Air-conditioning representative came out (Charged me $35 dollars) and said it was furnace problem. A second repairman and foreman came from Enercare (an old man). Explained and fixed the problem in 5 minutes. Experience is important. 2. Trying to terminate a water heater rental. After 6 months still unable to terminate the rental that I inherited when I bought the house in 2011 as I am looking at remodeling the house. On phone always polite, but not helpful: the information will be sent to me. (I will update this when I am successful in terminating the agreement.)

    Air Conditioning Maintenance

    The service tech. called our home, 10 minutes prior to showing at our front door step. He was very polite, put on his indoor boot protectors, and walked through our house, toward the AC unit at the side of the house. He answered all our questions and wished us a good day. We felt Very Satisfied, with his work ethic and job performance. I Highly recommend Enercare, for all your HVAC needs !!

    HVAC Services

    I have trusted Direct Energy for years to keep my heating and cooling appliances and fireplaces in good working order and am reassured that they tell me when I have a problem that cannot be ignored (crack plenum in furnace). I didn't mind paying for a new furnace as much as I would have minded if the issue had been ignored or passed over and a catastrophic failure had occurred. I also trust them with my houses plumbing issues which has gotten me out of trouble at least twice that I can remember and it could have been more. changing the name to Enercare does not bother me at all I believe I will continue to receive the same reliable service I have always had as exhibited by Jared when he came to do our a/c maintenance just the other day.

    HVAC Service

    Initial contact with DE home services was very positive, helping me arrange for the service representative to come in a timely manner. The service person was punctual, having phoned ahead to confirm arrival time. Once here, he explained what he would do; he solved the problem, and gave me some additional helpful information. Thanks! I am glad to have these services available.

    Billing

    They are billing me for a water heater in a residence that I no longer own/live in. I called & gave them 26 days notice of my move. (May 8/15) They overbilled me by 10 days in May & are invoicing me for the balance of May to June 18th. I have called in 3 times to follow it up. I am always promised a call back that never comes. I just spoke to another representative today who told me that I should pay the bill so it doesn't impact my credit score because the company only sees it as an unpaid/in arrears account which is a negative slight on my end. They said even though they are looking into it they are going to tarnish my credit while they take their time "investigating" the issue. Absolutely the most horrible view a Canadian company can have! I am disgusted beyond belief. I will never use nor recommend this company ever. I can't believe that it is "company policy" to treat consumers so unfairly. I always paid my bill every month. Absolutely heinous!

    HVAC Services

    The Direct Energy representative whom I spoke to regarding an appointment to service our air conditioner was extremely pleasant and was able to book me an appointment for the time I requested. The service technician arrived shortly after 1:00p.m. (the window for servicing was 1:00p.m.-5:00p.m.) and was friendly, courteous and professional. It was a pleasure for my husband and I to be cared for by Direct Energy.
