    Air Conditioning Maintenance

    Diagnostic checks and tests performed by Direct Energy technician under AC Maintenance Plan followed up by a comprehensive Report with Summary, individual measured data, problem description and recommended resolution to fix it. I have written the following review on DIRECT ENERGY post appointment survey; QUOTE This survey is intended for Diagnostic portion of my AC unit Maintenance Plan that was done on still running unit during follow up visit by DE Technician Mr. Giovanni Morrione on Friday, May 29, 2015, after the unit evaporator coil froze and condensed water leak was observed. Mr Morrione performed all required checks and tests that were done by DE on previous visits advised verbally that unit evaporator coil is frozen up probably due to loss of freon that could happen previous summer. Mr. Morrione also advised that he has ordered failed coil and that he shall return to install it after the coil is delivered. Email with full report arrived later on May 29. The report stated that unit is 60% operational, lists all tests and measurements taken and indicates remedial action to be taken. The Report with the checklist is available on DE website. Mr Morrione appears to be competent technician, who has customer satisfaction in mind. However the coil he ordered was never delivered as his supervisor probably disagreed with his proposal for client billing. Another solution to fix the AC unit was agreed upon June 4, 2014 and it is still not implemented. This is not covered in this survey, I will be happy to fill up separate surveys for service on appointments on Friday June 5, 2015 and Sunday June 7, 2015. UNQUOTE

    leaking valve

    Friendly, polite and fixed the problem in no time. Tightened another valve when the young apprentice fellow notice a wet pipe. I was happy they notice this leak (small). .

    Added Cooling Plan to a Heating Plan & Got Ripped Off

    I added a cooling plan to an existing heating maintenance plan I had with Direct Energy. Unbeknownst to me, they cancelled the original heating plan and charged me the remainder of the contract! They didn't outline this to me. They read me a script at the end that said "You may incur adjustments." This is a cash grab. Direct Energy engages in shady and dirty business practices. Shame on Direct Energy. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

    Water Heater Installation

    First-rate customer service from beginning to end. People could not have been more responsive to my situation. From my first call, everyone went out of their way to find the best solution to replace my 19-year-old heater. Joe was terrific, also Mark and then John from Walter Townshend and the teams who installed the liner and then the new water heater. They were knowledgeable, prompt , courteous and excellent at their jobs. Thanks again.

    Water Heater Installation

    The two men that came to install my new water heater were true gentlemen. They happily took my old one away with them. I felt very safe with them as I am a widow and do not easily trust people especially mem, but the two were wonderful.

    Air Conditioning Installation

    Installers were friendly, thorough and ensured area where they worked was clean. They explained the new air conditioner and made sure everything was to our satisfaction before they left. .

    HVAC Service

    I'm not sure if it was because the quality assurance person was observing, but everything was very thorough. The technician was very helpful, telling me how to maintain everything. I really appreciated the recommendations as my husband died last year, and all of this is new for me. Thank you!

    Service

    When I called about my problem I was given an appointment time within 48 hours. The person on the phone was very pleasant and understanding. She explained that the person coming to my home may come with the company name of Direct Energy or the new company name of Enercare Homecare. There was minimal wait time on the phone. The person coming to the home was very pleasant. He actually arrived an hour early!!! He identified himself immediately. He kept us informed at all times as to what he was doing. He found the problem and fixed it in a timely manner. We were shown the broken part. The part was under warranty. No charge.

    all parties involved Understood my need and request. they did not bounce me around. they were very friendly and did not waist my or their own time to pass the buck.. they looked after me properly.
