    Furnace Service

    From my initial call, staff were extremely helpful, polite and courteous. Repairman was punctual, down to business, helpful and asked if I had any questions or concerns and made me feel very comfortable that all was OK with my furnace, I would and already have provided my neighbours and work staff with the referral as I was extremely pleased. Thank you.

    Boiler Service

    The technician was very knowledgeable about the boiler as he explained to my wife and I what he did for the annual service call. He explained to us what to look for in the future if any problems do occur and to call Direct Energy.

    Water Heater Service

    Purchased new furnace a/c and humidifier

    DO NOT DEAL WITH DIRECT ENERGY. DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO TAG ALONG ON YOUR GAS BILL. DO NOT HAVE THEM ON PRE AUTHORIZED PAYMENT. I purchased a new furnace A/C and humidifier in August 2014 and it's been a nightmare since. The A/C was installed improperly and it took 2 weeks to return and fix it. Direct Energy then charged me $400 to repair their mistake. It then took 3 weeks to get a hold of someone to get the charge reversed. 3 weeks later (September 2014) I turned on the furnace and it started leaking. It had a defective seal on the collector pan. Direct Energy fixed it promptly and then charged me $700 for the repair. It took 6 weeks to reverse the charge. If you call their service number you will reach a call centre in Florida or Texas or Alabama where they are only interested in selling you a protection plan. No one understands what you are talking about. And when they tell you someone will follow up on your issue tomorrow and cal, you back no one ever calls. Also I have had to turn off the humidifier because it was emitting toxic fumes caused from the pad coating burning off. I did not bother to call for a repair because by this point I am better off not dealing with direct energy. Direct Energy sells equipment so that they can in turn sell you a monthly protection plan. They don't honor the manufacturer's warranty and are impossible to deal with. I have had to remove them from my gas bill and cancelled preauthorized payment to protect myself.

    It was excellent, and very prompt service by professional and friendly service technicians. Brett is a great service technician. The booties to cover their shoes is an excellent idea! !
