    Technician attitude

    We booked an appointment with technician to look at air con. Few days ahead, technician gave us a called to confirm the time. My wife who answered the call does not have context and the technician was extremely rude and refuse to call back. Was a very frustrated experience. We had better experience with other technician with enercare. So believe it is more individual rather than the company as a whole

    Problem with Air Conditioner

    Great service, I called around 7AM and the service man was at my house by 9:30 and had the AC running perfectly before 10AM - amazing! Very impressed with the timing and service.

    Enercare

    Enercare saved me from melting. First heatwave of the season, AC refused to turn on, within a day Enercare was here to assess and fix the problem. Technician was knowledgeable, helpful, polite and extremely patient to explain the issue.

    Water heater

    Like to write about this how excellent the Service repair person ! His name is RAUF-H! He was very aware of our type of water heater and furnace in our semi-detached home ! Personal , informative and during this Covid19 virus situation , he respected the prodigals that are placed when entering our home ! He took the time to speak with us about everything ! EXCELLENT employee and this company should be very proud of his hard work during this difficult time ! THANK - YOU Raif-H

    Furnace maintenance

    EnerCare technician, Grant, was very professional and helpful. He answered all my questions and informed me. I mentioned my friends and relatives that we got very good service from Enercare.

    EnerCare HVAC Service -Furnace 03-09-2020

    Although Charles worked steadily in testing the furnace,I saw little of him due to giving him space in the shttps://homestars.com/companies/203900-enercare-home-services-formerly-direct-energy-home-services/reviews/newmall basement area's Furnace room. I left him to do his work without interruption and to respect the necessary social distancing. He gave me a brief verbal report before he left and said that all was well with our furnace, checked the thermostat and reset it again. He also changed the filter for me. He's kindly, conscientious, and a person who seems to be shy, also very courteous and respectful of being tidy from the time he entered the house until he left. And he wore his mask the whole time. As with most of Enercare's HVAC Technologists, Charles is in line with the rest of his colleagues in having delivered excellent service to our own home heating and cooling systems over the years, and I would certainly recommend his expertise. Thank you.

    This company is a hoax for your money. RUN!!!!

    Called in multiple times to cancel a heating maintenance plan. Each time I was told that the plan would not auto-renew and would be cancelled at the beginning of this year. A few months later found out that they were still charging me and when I called in this time they tried to deny that I had made specific requests to have the plan cancelled. Made me jump through hoops to not pay them for what I didn't want. They couldn't care less> They just want your money.

    Much needed plumbing help!

    Andrew did a great repair job! Prompt, professional, and goes over and beyond! I phoned for a repair and received an appointment for the next morning! Call them for repairs!

    Hot Water Tank Fix

    Replaced a release valve. The appointment was given for the next following day, but it wasn't urgent. Good and fast professional service. A technician arrived within the expected appointment time frame. Complied with COVID-19 requirements.

    Furnace cleaning and maintenance

    Shawn the tech was prompt, professional, smart, polite, and very, very helpful beyond the call of duty, in several ways, skilled, effective problem solver, saw the furnace installation problem right away [by a non-Enercare tech] , helped me choose fresh batteries from my assortment, and he showed me the DATE on the batteries! , helped me choose from among my several levels of furnace filters, advised me when to change my thermostat batteries, I have put the reminder in my phone, in summary he was beyond excellent! And I am so glad you asked. And now you know.
