Enercare would give you a great price for the protection plan for the first year and then do autorenew even when you called them not to autorenew. Now I have to pay the complete yearly cost to get out of the contract( only 48 days in the new contract) when they haven't provided any service. Shameful practice

my furnace broke down recently. i used to be in construction and i knew what the problem was. a person from enercare came and as soon as he laid eyes on the furnace he tried to sell us a new one; he said there was no problem with the furnace we simply needed a new one. he was wrong of course; having worked in construction i knew better; i asked him to leave my house in no uncertain terms. needless to say another contractor came the very next day who diagnosed the problem correctly and fixed it easily - all that was needed was a replacement of a 25 dollar part. the furnace is working like new now. i would never recommend this contractor to anyone. buyer be very aware.

Not only did we get an appointment immediately but the service technician knew exactly what was wrong with our water heater the moment he walked in, before looking at the unit. We recently varnished and painted our home and the fumes from both triggers the valve to automatically shut off. He corrected the sensors and it was good to go in minutes. This speak volumes to the technical expertise that Enercare has. We were very satisfied and appreciated the technicians technical knowledge. Can you guys train Rogers?

Our natural gas fireplace was giving us issues. The technicians came over, set up with tarps on the carpet to protect it, and proceeded to not only clean it but troubleshoot the ignitor. They found the issue, serviced it, did an amazing cleaning job and when they left, the unit was working as it did new. They were polite, courteous, respectful and very efficient. I would recommend them any day.

when I signed up for the maintanance and protection plan, the rep on the phone never explained the fact that duct cleaning was not included in any of the plans. This was the main reason why I signed up for the maintenance plan. Furthermore the rep never explained that I would have to keep the service for a year otherwise I would be billed for the remainder period. I called to get some help on this issue and all I got was "there's nothing we can do for you!" The company did not take any responsibility for the mistakes of their representatives. They are happy to bill you and take your money but will not take any fault for the misleading information they provide to customers. I am really unhappy with their overall approach and lack of ownership! will never use nor recommend to anyone.

Three times we called for a 4 year old furnace shutting off. The 4th time in 3 weeks we were told it would be 16 to 22 hours for service. My 75 year old husband is a cancer patient and it is 10 below outside. We would have had to cancel his treatment to be home for the service call. Three times we were told they do not know what is wrong with the furnace but got it started. We called another company and had service In just over I hour.

Regular annual maintenance check for our furnace. Appointment times fit in well with my schedule and was within just a few days of booking. Technician was polite and helpful - gave extra advice and assistance on HVAC queries and offered money-saving suggestions. Appointment was quick but thorough.

We really like the services they provide. It's easy and economical in a long run. They're professional and friendly service. They've expertise in every appliances of a home owners. Also pluming, Electrical and so on. Hope this will help someone like me doesn't know much about repairs or finding them from outside.

I didn't have to pay for the inspection, it was a courtesy call to make sure the hot water tank was performing well. The serviceman was very polite, tidy and knowledgeable . I would highly reccommend them.

I've now wasted 2 Saturdays waiting for a technician. The first was because Enercare made a mistake and didn't actually book the appointment, which I only found out after I called to see where the technician was. Apparently he came the for the rescheduled appointment, but he obviously didn't rung the doorbell because I was home all day and didn't hear a ring or knock. When I called the Enercare agent said he would come back between 3 and 7 that day. 7:00 rolls around and I call again, only to find out he isn't available and that 3-7 should not have been booked. Get better appointment coordinators Enercare!!!!
