    False information was given to customer and bad customer service

    There is a leaking in our heater tank. Technician came and fixed the water leaking issue but then the top valves started to leak. Technician said is a plumbing issue and it will be no charge he said. Despite the service with the supervisor was bad; he said there will be a charged since plumbing is another department. Anyways, a plumber came and said it was not a plumbing issue. He just plugged back the wire and no water were found from the valves. We signed up for a plumber plan because we were told that there a change in the valves is needed and it will cost us $180to$200. At the end, it was not a plumbing issue but was told to be responsible to pay for the bill and feeling silly that we signed up for a plumbing plan.

    annual inspection

    We had Andrew call for the annual inspection appointment. Andrew called just prior to arriving. Andrew was very courteous and conscientious. He did a very thorough inspection of the furnace. He also asked when we had the last duct cleaning done. Thank you Andrew for such a fantastic representative of Enercare Oshawa. Joan Windover

    Nightmare- again

    For the second time I have had Enercare into my home to service my furnace and replace my rental hot water heater. The first occasion they red tagged my furnace and shut off it off in the middle of winter. ( The red tagged was removed the next day after another contractor inspected it and advised it was fine. This time I had a leaky hot water heater had to be replaced. They advised the venting needed to be upgraded, which they couldn't do. They disconnected the heater after advising that I had to use their referred contractor to do the venting. I was left with no hot water and at the mercy of a contractor who had an exclusive agreement with them. My recommendation is only use Enercare as a LAST RESORT.

    Grant Harris -does a great job

    Our regular maintenance on our furnace keeps things running in tip top shape and Grant did a great job! Lots of good advise and tips for us to follow between visits. Thank Grant.

    Furnace maintenance

    A noisy furnace fan made for concern that the fan motor might be loose and damaging other parts of the heating system. The Enercare technician, Rakesh, arrived promptly to the appointment, opened up the furnace, and tightened down what bolts hold the motor in place, checking to ensure the problem no longer seemed to be in evidence. Under the maintenance plan on the equipment, there was no charge for the visit.

    Furnace, water heater air conditioner

    I am a client of Enercare. I have found through a number of interactions throughout the years with Enercare that great intentions have produced dismal results. I do believe that their intention to be a very good service company was always there but the execution would almost always fail. However, the company has always, always made an effort to correct the wrongs. In the last couple of years Enercare has really stepped up their game, although not perfect, the effort to do better and better, and they have, makes this company a company that I do not hesitate to call for my service and products.

    Repair request and rent increase explanation

    Call customer service to place a service call on the water heater she put me on hold without telling me on two occasions the third time she did, I asked her why rent increased she didn't know! I could hardly understand her. I asked if I could get a quote and she said no and to call another number. I expected her to offer to have someone call me back and she said she is not equipped to call back. Thats not what I asked. Noone in customer service should ever say to a customer "I DON'T KNOW" makes your company look incompetent. Which I really think it is! So disappointed!

    Duct Cleanin

    We did a major renovation and in the proess our ducts got inundated with garbage, drywall etc. During a furnace maintenance we were asked if we would be interested in duct cleaning. I had been thinking about it so was interested. We talked to the booking agent and got a time within the following week. The rep arrived on time, took off his shoes and explained to me the process. I knew that one duct was very bad and so was interested if they would get it clean....really clean. Well they did and I was happy. The rep also made suggestions about operating our furnace and A/C related to the filter to use given our family situation. Much appreciated

    I hate this company if I don’t pay for 1 month they call me or my husband every day for less then 44$ to pay it’s very annoying! Very annoying!

    Furnace Maintenance by Grant

    So I have just had the wonderful experience of sharing a part of my morning with one of the nicest gentleman I could ever hope to meet. Grant goes about his business in a very thorough manner, all whilst talking you through each step of the procedure of maintaining the furnace. We shared about our love of dogs, vacation destinations, and everything else in between. If you happen to run into this serviceman, count yourself blessed.
