    Annual Furnace Maintenance

    Enercare maintenance person (Rishi) was very polite and explained everything as her perform the annual furnace maintenance. He called before he showed up and he answered all of my furnace and home humidifier questions.

    Service call

    Reno was a really helpful technician. We thought he did a great job. He was polite and professional and showed up within the agreed time frame. He was neat and tidy.

    Hot Water Tank Repair

    Late Thursday afternoon we discovered that we suddenly had no hot water from any of our taps in the house. We have an Enercare Rental Water Heater, so I called them for help. A service representative answered my call immediately, listened to my problem, asked a few key questions, and them booked a service call for me for the following day between 12:00 noon and 4:00pm. He then sent me an email confirming this appointment, and said that if there were any changes to it I would be notified by phone. At approx. 3:00 pm the next day the service rep, "Butch" arrived at our house. He checked the machine, immediately identified the problem, showed me the broken valve part, and then proceeded to replace the part. He also completed a test of the overall operation of the water heater, and reported that it is in good condition, with no need for further work or replacement ! Butch was very pleasant, knowledgeable about the equipment, and did a very thorough job to solve our problem. Thanks to Butch and Enercare !

    PIECE OF MIND

    Service calls are handled in a prompt and professional manner. Scheduled repair dates and times are done to the convenience of the customer and are adhered to within a reasonable time window. Technicians always call ahead and are courteous, friendly and respectful. Work is done in a proficient manner and extenuating issues requiring more parts are handled by the next day when necessary. Piece of mind that repair costs regardless of amount are fully covered by the HIP Plan (no qualms encountered).

    Enercare unhappy waterheater (ex)customer

    I live in 1000 square foot semidetached, 401&Leslie. Water heater was installed more than 10 yr ago. Only thing I’ve noticed that my valve on top of a heater was ceased. In case of leak I would have to go to the main valve. Never paid attention until recently. At that time, installer zoom in, solder pipes and zoom out. No quality control was done beyond obvious. To be honest I never had any problem with heater. Decided to unsubscribe because I never used their service. In case that you don't know, you can’t get service beyond normal business hours. Saturdays & Sundays Enercare doesn’t operate. Nowadays even banks work at least satrurdays. Called last week to inquire about cancellation procedure. They offered some rebates and 6 month free service. I was told that technician will come and disconnect heater. Today I called to finally cancel and schedule pickup for old heater (which is already disconnected waiting in basement), and they slap me with $75 fee they charge for it! I was kept on hold for almost 1.5 hours. Kid was apologizing 50 times, trying to reach manager apparently not interested to listen to all my complaints. Even pickup was difficult to set up. Turns out that they don’t have anybody to pick it up in the afternoon hours! Weekends are booked for month ahead. I imagine, I would have to exit from work and waste half day just for that.

    Cleaning gas furnace/ac unit

    Your representative Joe was professional and provided comprehensive service. He was thorough and answered all my questions. Joe has fantastic customer service skills and a pleasant demeanor. I would highly recommend him!

    Furnace annual cleaning

    Grant Harris cleaned our furnace today as part of the Enercare program that we pay for monthly. He was very helpful, answered my questions, and went beyond the call of duty by helping me with the proper use of my furnace Aprilaire humidifier. I was very pleased with his professionalism and assistance.

    Air Conditioner rental maintenance

    The Customer and Service Representatives were friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, skillful, quick, understanding, patient. They showed that they cared about problems with the product. My Air conditioner I thought broke down, they scheduled and were in the next day to repair, diagnose, troubleshoot. Awesome.

    Furnace and air conditioner unit

    We actually decided to rent this equipment just for maintenance alone. The 2 gentlemen that can were amazing. Worked hard and did an excellent job! It is rare that we get people who know what they are doing and do it perfectly no mess and works great. Shout out to Americo and Tim for doing an amazing job! This is what customer service should always be like. Clearly Enercare understands this. Great job guys!

    Electrical hot water tank

    After seeing on CBC the carbon monoxide poising in Vancouver recently, I had our gas hot water tank checked. Vinoth and Brandon from the Toronto Dufflaw branch did the audit, and the electrical hot water tank replacement. They were excellent - professional, informative, helpful and great to work with. They took a few hours to complete the installation, and left the work area very clean. Throughout, I found Encare's service excellent. Thank you, Ryan Friedman.
