    The worst customer service

    Avoid Enercare if you value a company that cares about their customers. Supervisors ignore multiple emails for call backs due to issues. Appointment times are changed at their convenience without consulting customer first. Their sales team trying to recruit customers for their maintenance package will say ANYTHING to get you signed up. Turns out I paid for a maintenance package I will only be able to use for my furnace. They won't honour the AC portion. I'll be cancelling my furnace maintenance appointment I've paid for because after the way I've been dealt with I don't want any of their technicians touching my HVAC system. I wouldn't trust any employee with my system. If they cold call you with a promo avoid them like the plague.

    Fireplace annual cleaning

    Arranged for fireplace cleaning and problem with on/off switch . Zaw arrived almost on time in one of our worst snowstorms . he reviewed our file and realized that we had not had our furnace checked last year so he completed that task as well . The service was superb and he was very efficient in carrying out his work . He reviewed our file and explained thigs very well .

    furnace maintenance

    Stephanie came to do a furnace maintenance. She was courteous, efficient and answered any questions I had without being rushed. She explained what she was doing and why. It was a pleasant experience.

    1 year contracts renew without notice?????

    Cost for maintenance plans is too much... higher than cost to heat my house. I have used the maintenance plan for over 15 years and tried to cancel.. Cost would be $500.00. I had called regarding a cooling plan that was added that I did not agree to. Customer service was to investigate never got back to me. I can hardly wait till October this year to cancel . Just had a call from customer service.. to decrease monthly payments by $6.00. If I agree my contract will go till March next year.. never ends....

    rented water heater exchange

    I wish I never new Enercare! Our 8-year old water heater started leaking , two technicians came and recommended, first - to replace, second - to repair, after waiting for the part to arrive, we decided to replace, every day counts when it is -14 C , outside. The Enercare people came, replaced, and left us with the leak after they connected the new one. My husband had to run after them to ask to come back and close the whole, they did, later. But... but! the valve mixer stopped working, and we were left with just chill water in the taps. it took them 3 days to send a plumber to replace the mixer at our cost! Is that the strategy of Enercare to lead the customer to the point when we are happy to pay any price just to have the hot water back?!

    Regular Maintaience

    Cleaned and serviced furnace. Great service. from Steve and the Enercare customer service rep. Right on time and explained everything...keep up the good work. You guys rock. We are happy customers. Thanks

    Hot water tank

    Norm is an excellent technician.He came on time.He is very polite and courteous.He did good job and we are very pleased.As we are first time home buyers and din't have no experience in the field, he explained every thing in detail.We are thankful for his service.

    hot water tank rental return nightmare

    Have been dreading calling Enercare about returning my old rental tank. I've heard so many horror stories about how they argue, ignore and generally give you a hard time about it. Well I wasn't surprised. I'm now on hold with the 7th person I've talked to today. I just want to know where to take the tank back in Barrie & no one conveniently knows where that is. They all just put me on hold to die here. So now I'm getting angry, frustrated and writing this review while I'm on hold - again. Don't ever get a rental contract with this company! They will own you for the rest of your life and you won't like it one little bit!!!!

    Furnace/AC installation

    Changed from a mid-energy to high energy furnace and had new AC installed (never had AC before). Consultant and installers were very thorough. The installers showed me where the AC/pipes would go before they started. Coldest day of the week. They were courteous, friendly and cleaned up before they left. Felt I was valued and included in the installation process. Thank you.

    Furnace Installation

    The consultant and installers have elevated my opinion of Enercare. The experience of sales, communication, inspection, installation was professional, friendly, informative and transparent! All questions were answered quickly and efficiently. The installers excelled in their work - The professionalism and workmanship was evident in the finished product and attention to detail. Thank you gentleman for delivering above and beyond with courtesy, honesty and on time. Definitely will recommend these 3 gentlemen! Our house is toasty warm and they delivered on the promises made. That is rare these days.
