    garage door (Updated 3/21/17)

    we purchased a new garage door, and my wife said everything went well except for the installer ran out of lubricant to lubricate the rollers. he ended up using wd40, which unfortunaely using wd40 wont last very long . i wasnt there and the technician advised my wife she could by the grease and lubricate it herself. this is totally unacceptable. the tech should have gone out and purchased the grease and complete the job properly. ive called twice to have someone come back to lubricate and never heard back both times. very dissapointed. i wont recommend them.... Updated: Was contacted by the company on 3/20/17 to set up a site visit. Apparentely there was a mix up with our contact number. Had a service manager (J.P.) come out explain how to lubricate and maintain the door on 3/21/17. Absolutely great service!!! I wont erase my earlier comment, but you can see how they do go out of there way to rectify any customer complaints! Would Highly recommend!

    Garage door installation

    The installer was professional and courteous and completed the job in less time than quoted in a snow storm even very impressive I would highly recommend Dodd' s the price was more than reasonable unfortunately did not get the installers name but it the gentleman from Spain. Thx again Dodd's

    Very responsive, good price, great on-site service!

    It was the fastest response to my inquiry of any company I contacted! Within a few text messages back and forth we had diagnosed the problem and settled on a solution and a price. It took a while to schedule the new garage door opener installation but once they were on site their service was quick, efficient and pleasant. They went well above and beyond when I accidentally broke one of the wires to the sensors about 5 minutes after they left. They came back, spliced the wire back together and saved my bacon! Happy to recommend this team.

    New Garage Doors

    A pleasure to work with from start to end! The sales excellent. He provided all garage colour, material, and hardware options and the associated costs. Installation was also clean, fast, and efficient. I had a few issues with the weather stripping after a few months but Dodds resolved it in a week. Fantastic service!

    Run don't walk........away from this company

    Emergency weekend service that was nothing short of gouging. Unbelievably rude and surly technicians and very poor workmanship. Now that I am in a position to contract someone to replace my garage door system I would not use this company under any circumstances. I contacted the company to tell them how I felt the next week and did not even receive the courtesy of a reply.

The client refers to "technicians"which presupposes a two man team whereas all our residential service is performed by individual technicians. We believe this client is reviewing the wrong company. Any client calling in at emergency times is automatically apprised of our emergency rates with full disclosure and a client can then decide whether to proceed or not.

    Garage door

    We love our new garage door. Not only is it a quality product, but it is beautifully designed, giving our home abeautiful look. The installation was on time, clean and efficient. I will definitely recommend Dodds garage doors!

    Insulated garage door with capping & liftmaster opener

    Dealing with Dodds was a great experience from start to end. The salesman was excellent and explained the process and our options based on our unusual garage situation. He contacted the door manufacturer on the spot to relay our scenario and provide additional guidance. The install went great! Our garage is the best looking on the street!

    New door and opener instalation

    Very professional company rite from the get go. The salesman was very educated and not pushy at all. The installer was quick ,clean and new exactly what he was doing, thanks Dodds.

    Garage door motor repair

    Super quick response to my inquiry and their customer service person laid out all my options for me and associated costs. As soon as I chose a course of action, I was booked within 4 days of calling, the technician showed up on time, and made sure everything was working before he left. Great, smooth, professional experience, nothing really negative to say about these guys.

    Installation of new garage door

    We had the original garage door and one of the springs broke. Because the door was so old we had to get a new one as they don't make the kind we had anymore. Right from sale to installation I was pleased with the professionalism, knowledge and ease at which the salesman explained the process and I only had to wait a month to have it installed. Big improvement to say the least! Looks very nice. Operation is smooth. I would not have any hesitation to recommend Dodds to anyone! Everything was cleaned up when I got home - wouldn't even know they were there, except for the nice new garage door!
